There are some nice walking tracks that are a little more rugged than made up paths. Access to the river in a number of places and public toilets. There is a canoe launching place.
Great, great, great!!! Beautiful park with an interesting water fall (it is actually a hike through the rocks from the mining period). The day use is clean and well maintained. The place is gorgeous and it is worth the ride for a family lunch, trail, or just sit by the water fall and appreciate the river and view!
Lovely place for a relaxing stroll and lots of interesting things to come across, from wildlife to old gold mines if you're up for a longer walk.
Nice walking track, on a warm day you'll find people with picnics, kayaking, swimming, and playing in the Yara. Supposedly no dogs allowed but we saw 4 on leads behaving perfectly. No bins so plan to take your rubbish home with you.
Total disappointment. Waste of time. Not some place where kids would enjoy. Although good place to walk your dog. Loads dog pop around. I had to be very very careful walking around. People do not pick after their dogs finish. Definitely not a good place.
WSP sprawls around the town centre and Yarra River. Provides the leafy suburb a nice village feel. Lots of outdoor activities for all age groups are welcome here. The easy grades are the walking or riding along the beach. The WSP is undulating, therefore it gives one a good workout. There are lots of history left behind during the mining eras . Lovely place to spend a day or 2,&
Beautiful serene place. A hidden treasure waiting to be explored. The greenery is breathtaking and the air so crisp. We weren't lucky enough to see any wildlife except for 2 ducks.
Great place for a short bush walk. River, kangaroos, birds and views. Take the family or your girl.
Had a great time walking around with the river close by and the natural bush setting. Plenty of nature sounds and ok facilities.
Warrandyte offers some of the most gorgeous nature walks i have been on.
Anyone who loves the trees and the sounds of birds and nature should visit
Really nice place to go for a walk along the river bank. There are some coffee shops along the way that you can stop at. If you have a dog you can sit outside with it at the table while your have your coffee.
Really good park. Loads of natural bush. Lots of walking trails.
Great area for exploring and going for a swim, Pound Bend has a great swimming spot with a cool tunnel you can go through *at your own risk*
Beautiful scenery. Tranquil walks next to the river. Parking available. What more do you want from a park?
Take a walk along the river path. On a hot day there are numerous swimming spots. Great for picnics and the scenery is stunning. Lots of shade from the native gums and dog friendly.
