Nice, little, crowded place to go to for an Australian-Italian meal. Bookings is highly suggested. Great selection of Italian wines! "Vini" means wines in Italian.

It was ok - nice atmosphere and friendly staff, but frankly the food wasn't great (had the lamb), serving size small / especially for the price.

How does this place stay opened? The table next to us arrived 15 minutes after us and got two of the their plates before we were served our first and that was after we complained!
The wine by the glass, a grand selection of 8 wines only. And exhorbatantly priced! I thought the staff and management were arrogant and I was unimpressed with the way they responded to my concerns in serving preferences between tables and with then with the overcooked bonito that was served well before the contorno was served! The Management was arrogant and unprofessional and purported himself to be half Italian however it was obvious his Italian heritage was not apparent with his hospitality skill sets! Further the food experience was nothing short of amateurish ! I would happily allocate zero stars if I could!

Tried to get in here before a show at Belvoir St Theatre. Ordered an hour before we had to go, got our bottle of wine. We left 15 minutes before the show still without seeing our food. Disappointed I went to pay for the wine and git slugged $ 75 bucks! After the show we were starving and went to Jazzsushi, got served fast at 9.30 pm food was excellent.
I won't give Vini another go.

Very uninspiring experience. It was like going to a friends place for a home cooked dinner after they've watched a Jamie Oliver's 30 minute Italian special; only without the friends. The food was very bland and the textures all wrong.
