Had an awesome day out with Matt yesterday doing the mixed wine and beer tour.
He was such a great guide for our tour around the swan valley with interesting facts along the way . You can tell he really loves what he does.
We had an amazing day tasting some amazing wines and beer and lunch was delicious.

Brewery tour on 03/11/17 with Top Gun Tours

We were picked up in Perth by Matt and were loaded into the bus after a quick introduction to the day's activities. The first drive was 30mins with no more than 15 minutes in between each stop. The bus was clean and offered bluetooth for the passengers' own music.

Breweries

1. Feral - beautiful countryside setting with award winning beers served in what could be an award winning tray. Taster menu of six local brews was provided. Could have spent much longer in the surroundings.
3. Iron Bark - wonderful selection of beers, ales and ciders either via a taster menu of 5 drinks or two "midis" of your choice. Particularly favourite was the salted caramel cider. A two-course lunch was provided which was not only delicious but helped to break up the alcohol intake.
4. Elmar - German brewery. Several Oktoberfest classics were included within the five drink taster menu. The venue was lively and staff provided plenty of colour to the on-site activities.
5. Mash - particularly friendly staff offered a taster menu including a lager styled on 'the Gov'nor'. Beer-battered chips were also most welcome.
6. Duckstein - another German beerhouse with a taster menu smorgasbord of IPAs, pilsners and ale alongside traditional German sausages.

Overall, Matt was a thoroughly knowledgeable, entertaining and engaging host and answered any and all questions the group had. Everyone had a great day and I would highly recommend the tour to anyone reading. We will be signing up to the Top Gun wine tour very soon!

We had a great Saturday tour with Top Gun tours and our guide Ella!
Very easy to organise and no stress all day. We were even able to change our itinerary on the day without any hassle.

Such a great tour! Big lover of craft beer and this tour offered everything you'd need from a day of exploring the Swan Valley's best breweries. Top notch samples ( I.e LOTS) and great trivia and banter. Thanks to our guide Matt.

Highly recommended tour to do.
Had a great day with Matt on his Swan Valley Wine Tour this day, together with my wife and adult son.
Tasted a lot of great wines and fortified.

The brewery tour was great and well run by Matt. Plenty of different beers to try at a variety of breweries in the Swan Valley. Pizza lunch break was great and plenty of snacks along the way. Great for a large or small group and a very stress free from start to finish.

Matt was an absolute ledge! He looked after us at every venue, brought us beers over to the table and really went the extra mile! A proper sound dude, he knew everyone at the breweries, got us the VIP treatment and even joined in with the banter amongst the boys.
Awesome tour, don't go with anyone else!

Such a fantastic tour ! We did "The touch of crystal wine tour" on the weekend, the best wine tour I have had, beautiful wines, great food and top company, wouldn't go with any other tour group, Matt out did himself once again !

As someone who frequently books wine tours, this was by far the BEST experience I've ever had. Matt ( our wonderful tour guide) was punctual for pick up and extremely informative. There was 4 of us ladies from out of town and he made us feel very welcomed. The wineries we visited were excellent, and you could tell he had an amazing rapport with all the reps from the wineries, as they greeted him with such kindness. Thank you Top Gun Tours for such a wonderful experience!! I would highly recommend this tour to all.

We really enjoyed the 'Touch of Crystal Wine Tour' with Matt. My parents were visiting from Ireland and we did not have enough time to travel to Margaret River, so this tour was perfect.

Matt was very informative, yet he didn't overload us with too much information.

As our group was small, we had the opportunity to pretty much taste as much wine as we liked and each winery catered for the varied pallets in our group.

I would highly recommend this tour for all ages. Given the vast amount of tastings throughout the day (most of which included crackers and cheese), and the high quality meal which was included in the price, it was really great value!
