came into tony lahood motors in Croydon and met Gary where I instantly found comfort and knew my new car was going to be purchased off him, thank you team. you made this transaction easy
When looking for a car recently I glossed over the dealer ads on carsales.com and gumtree but after a few disappointments looking at cars being sold privately tried visiting Tony Lahood Motors in Croydon.
The staff were very helpful and not in the least pushy which is why I avoided dealers. They are from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds which I also found refreshing.
Fortunately the car I was interested in was still for sale and with a discount, three year warranty, service program and seamless transaction I had my car.
I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a second hand car.
Buyer beware don’t ever buy a car here. My son brought a car for $14k with a 3 year warranty not worth the paper it’s written on, within a month it stop going has been told the engine has gone needs a total rebuild ( $7k plus)when he called and asked about the warranty has been told it’s not covered. As it turns out they don’t actually cover anything. I just wish we had read these reviews before he brought the cars from these people as it seems they have done this numerous time. Now my son has no car to get to work is out of pocket $14 plus $ 1500 as he had to register it. So people do your self a favour and do not buy a car from these people as it was save you a lot of heartache
Had a great experience with Matthew at the Croydon yard. Turned up to view a Nissan Dualis which at first glance was a sight for sore eyes. The car mechanically was perfect and the guys had it sprayed it and detailed it to perfection.
Matthew assured me it would look great which was an understatement.
Highly recommend you visit these guys!
Beware their misleading sales practices.
After they advertised a car with a three year guarantee we were required to pay in full before picking it up. Quite normal so far.
It wasn't until we took delivery that my son was told that this (sham) guarantee was contingent on his having the car serviced there. This had never been mentioned until after his hard earned funds had been transferred and is clearly a way to get more business.
We offered to have the car serviced by a reputable mechanic but this was rejected and presented as non negotiable despite it never have been mentioned before we paid.
Beware of this sales trick.
