We stopped by on our way back to Melbourne after visiting the Great Ocean Road. We had heard that the food and drinks here are very good. The staff is very accommodating and allowed us to taste several liquors. We chose the coffee and chocolate one. Yummy. We had a nice lynch as well, and then crossed the back lawn for Ice cream. Nice spot.
Great food! Had the beef burger - really fresh taste and delicious! Worth the 15-minute detour from Port Campbell
Great little distillery we call in here every time we are in the area. They do their own whisky which is great as well as apple schnapps coffee and chocolate liqueurs and a few others. They do some good seasonal meals with good sized portions at reasonable prices and offer the locally made Timboon ice cream which is awesome. They also stock a selection of locally hand made sauces and similar for sale. There is also a koala that hangs out in the trees around the distillery that you may be lucky enough to spot.
Had a delicious lunch here and would highly recommend. Food was great and creative, staff was nice and the overall atmosphere is casual and relaxing. Definitely make sure to do a whiskey tasting as well!
We had a tasting through Maggie and really enjoyed it. Maggie really knows her stuff. We visited mid-afternoon and the restaurant had a really busy day, but she didn't falter and treated us as if we were her first customer. Thankyou.
Great, easy going service. Quality food. We had a dog with us and they were very accommodating to our needs and sat us in an area that wouldn't annoy other guests. Great selection of craft beers, local whiskey and wines. Very comfortable place.
The best meal I had on the GOR. Had the caramelised prom hock with Asian noodle salad which was very good! Anna the service staff was a great host and introduced us a few sights to visit around the area. Will definitely come back again!
We preferred the food here to any of the places we tried in Port Campbell - it was for sure worth the drive out of town. The beef mushroom pot pie (on special) and pear walnut salad were both excellent. This is a nice family business. We enjoyed the whiskey tasting which came with lots of good info from the distiller himself, whose parents bottle and label everything. We also enjoyed the limoncello and coffee aperitif. It is also a small market where you can get local wine, meat, chocolates, etc.
A very beautiful location, food was nothing special for the price which was expensive like $14.00 for a sausage roll with a ice cream for a child. Staff are pleasant but could be more welcoming. Go for a whiskey tasting and maybe coffee. As for food bring a packed lunch.
The food is very tasty! However the environment is not very pleasant as there are too many flies want to eat your dish!
Fantastic experience! A must! Great Whiskey, menu, beautiful service. Congratulations to the owner!
Always busy, but fantastic local food and friendly staff.
Good food. Had the Atlantic salmon and a really nice cheese platter (especially the spicy blue cheese). Staff could have been friendlier. The roof over the outdoor area was leaking a lot when heavy rain fell, but shouldn't be a problem too often.
I was not satisfied after my lunch there, starving. The taste was good. The staff diverse service-minded. Overpriced.
