If you care about safety stay away!
They just pretend work is done on your car and it’s not done in reality.
Made too many mistakes for a simple task. Not trustworthy at all. I am doubting if they even changed the oil or just pretended they had.
Charged me for tyres being balanced and rotated and asked them they said it’s done just need to replace tyres soon. went home realised it’s not done, because the front was still more worn out.
2nd attempt they said the tyre lock key was missing that’s why they couldn’t be done last time and they made a mistake to report it but didn’t make a mistake to charge me. we will ordered that come back next week ( checked at home that wasn’t true. It was in the glove box like I had told them)
3rd attempt,after sorry about that we will take care of it right away, saw through the window tyres are not balanced but just rotated. Told them said it’s another mistake! Gerard didn’t mention it but it’s all good!!
How many mistakes can you make for a simple task that should be done everyday with every car serviced?!
If I wasn’t watching over them wouldn’t have noticed five mistakes for a simple task. And every time they say it’s all good whereas only the payment was good nothing else.
Also compared 2 visits for the same service, one cost me 140 another 200. Same oil and filters nothing more. They just charge what they can. Don’t be fooled by looks.response / report this review -

The guys at The Workshop really know their stuff when it comes to Peugeot - Citroen - Renault. I wanted a second opinion on an ATF change I had done elsewhere, and was not satisfied, with when a breather plug at the bottom of the AL4 automatic transmission started to weep. I removed the old ATF from the breather pipe as it was definitely overfull, and The Workshop checked that the new Nulon ATF was at the correct level. We have since had them change the ATF to Penrite and it's now like a new auto.
We have also had them change the thermostat . This is a big job as it includes the water pump and housing. Gerard and his team did a good job.response / report this review -

I've been servicing my car for few years at the workshop and it has been always a top service. Staff is very helpful, always very pleasant and giving the best quality. I am very happy and recommending their service to everyone.

i took them to VCAT TRIBUNAL after engine failure & total denial from thier part , the judge said qoute " its the worst mechanical case he had ever seen " . I was awarded all costs & engine replacement. Only took them 3 months to pay me while car was in storage & sending me solicitors letters even after i was more than certeous to themi just shoulda put down a enforcement order straight after court
If my car broke down infront of thier workshop.id avoid them like the plague & get it towed to another mechanic .response / report this review -

Totally misleading. I called for a roadworthy I was told it'd would be 2 or 3 hours. 6 hours later when I rocked up to the workshop I was told the mechanic had to go to a funeral. Which is why the vehicle was delayed. Who has ever heard of a surprise funeral. They knew this at 1015.
One star for lying had they told me it would take all day i would have not spent 6 hours at the shopping mall they dropped me of at. I also never received a road worthy even though i was told three times the car was being looked at.

Gerard is always SUPER helpful, always manages to fit my car in at the last minute for me and goes above and beyond to ensure service is optimal. Not only is the quality of workmanship exceptional but they are honest and aren't there to milk the cow with all the usual extras you find at other mechanics. The guys even dropped my car back (each time) to my home as I had difficulty coordinating pickup with a small toddler. Thank you The Workshop.

This is a fantastic professional service. We have been taking our cars along the years for almost 9 years. I used to live in Parkdale so it was very convenient for me but now that I live to the other side of town, they are very flexible and adjust the service to my needs.
