Called in a few times over this weekend, great coffee and all the food we had was very nice, we had pies, sausage rolls, sandwiches, cakes and biscuits all were excellent.
Best of all was the service when we turned up late in the afternoon and feared they would be closed or sold out, but no when we got out of the car and asked a member of staff who was in the nice outside eating area if they were still open she replied in the positive and said come on in what are you after, while the coffee machine was making all the right noises we took the last of the fresh sandwiches (no curled corners here) and then it was the hard choice of over a dozen pies, we took three and all were tasty and again fresh.

When in Alexandra again this will be my first port of call.

Great gem of a coffee shop, bakery in Alexandria. Sit and relax and then take a walk in the park opposite. There is a kids playground in the park over the swing bridge.

We stopped here on the way home from a camping weekend and had the yummiest chicken burger and shoestring fries The coffee was nice too. Looking forward to a return visit :) definitely the best cafe I have found since moving to Melbourne a month ago! Highly recommend a visit to this cute little place.
