FRIENDLY CASUAL PUB ON BUSY CBD CORNER
Nice place to drop in for a drink or a bite.
Casual with several different areas. Food is quite good for a pub. Can get a little noisy (but nothing more than other similar venues).
They have a trivia night (Thursdays) and a very welcome happy hour :)

Nice decor but not a lot of visual warmth to this pub. Not cheap but the range of beers is good. More a place for a casual drink than a session in my book

Could not fault it today. Haven't been to this pub for about ten years and had lunch here which was darn fine. Had the chicken parmy(saying Parma is weird) and although on the small side, I really enjoyed it. The chicken was fresh and the flavours of the sauce and cheese combined were terrific. For $21 odd it was great value.

Great place for a pint with a good range of beers and Cider on tap. Nice ambience, if a little loud. Very handy for a quick one after work.

Surprisingly good food! Especially the Pulled Pork pizza. Also the meet was very good. Only negative thing was perhaps the noise level due to the bar, and also rather small portions.

I was ordered to court by my idiot wife's solicitor but got distracted and bought a beer from this place. The taste was immediately unpleasant, but I hung around sipping it for another hour. If you've ever tried your urine after eating a whole thing of asparagus, it's a lot like that. By then the court was closing and the judge refused to stay open any longer to give me back my son. What a terrible business

Hosted a trivia night here, staff were very friendly and the night went smoothly. Would recommend for large but formal/fun gatherings for young adults!

liked it here for a while. if you want to sit and chat after work with a drink or 2 it gets quiet loud with music and you find yourself yelling at each other. Drinks were reasonably priced but that has changed.. Still a busy place with good food

We had our office Christmas party at the Metropolitan Hotel Dec 2016 and it was the perfect function space, private and a good size area not too big and not too small. The hotel organised a DJ for the night and we had a sit down 3 course dinner which was lovely. They gave us plenty of options for food and entertainment and it was perfect. The service was efficient and professional and the food was also great. Everyone had a fantastic night and I would recommend this space and catering for any occasion.

Staff were friendly, ambiance was nice and food was good, but they were clearly having a bad day, and it took over an hour for food to come out. We were given a series of excuses, each different from the last. Some honesty up front would have gone a long way.

The food we got was good and they paid for the drinks, so we got a fair deal in the end. But if you're serving lunch to office workers on a Friday time is an issue and half our group had to leave. I'd go again, but not if I needed to be somewhere within 2 hours.
