  This is a small but upmarket club compared with some of the nearby giants like the Southern Cross Club or Hellenic Club, but it punches above its weight with a great bistro and some of the best live bands in Canberra on Saturday nights - great for a dance if you're so inclined!

  The club has great bands & a very good dance floor. It is a pity that there is no black sambucca or sugar free vodka mixer bottles available to drink there. I go to this club at least once a month with friends in my social group.

  The Mawson club has a excellent modern Australian menu at the restaurant. The service was very good. There is a kids play area to suit young children up to teenagers.

  The children's enclosed area has a playground and electronic games. The play area is clearly visible through a glass window and the only way out is past tables so you can position to keep guard. The food is good and drinks cheap. A good family catch up or dinner

  Have been here a few times. The atmosphere is relaxing and family friendly. The staff at the reception desk are always lovely and welcoming! Although I've had 1 bad experience with a rude bar tender. All the other staff that day were lovely and easily resolved the issue.
  This is a great place to have a get together with some old family or friends in a smart casual atmosphere. The club always have raffles and cheap meals each week. There is a variety of vegetarian and gluten free meals, the kids menu is also decent.
  The food is always presented beautifully but I would have to say the meals I've eaten are average for the price.

  Quiet afternoon visit, which must be seniors week and mothers group.
  Food is yummy and staff are friendly.
  Restaurant has a kid play room
