Walked past the shop and decided to get a haircut, luckily they managed to fit me in. Kelly was lovely and very professional, gave great advise on cut and colour. Best haircut I had in a long time, will definitely be back next time I am in Cairns.

Miracle workers Cally and Freat got a huge knot out of my hair, I thought it was hopeless but they saved my hair!! I feel like I was actually heard and they kept my long hair instead of cutting it off. Everyone in the salon was so nice and helping out. I will definitely go back for a cut. It had been 3 years since a had my last hair cut and was extremely nervous upon booking in at Hair Studio as I knew I would need a lot off my damaged ends. I spoke with Cally on the phone and explained how I was feeling but knew it was time for a cut and perhaps something new and much shorter.
When I arrived for my appointment Cally made sure she looked after me specifically and didn't disappoint. Extremely happy with my new hair and new look, she did an amazing job and made the whole process less nerve racking!

My experience at the Hair Salon has always been exceptional. I see Michael who always does a gorgeous colour no matter what I choose and always exceeds my expectations! Have been the first time at the Hair Studio and Cally was looking after me. It was a fantastic experience ; she is one of the best hairdressers I ever have been to. I had a fantastic experience with Michael at the Hair Studio on Lake St. He patiently listened to what I was trying to accomplish with my hair, offered some invaluable suggestions based on my hair type, and most importantly, I walked out with a beautiful cut that was exactly what I was looking for. He is a talented stylist and the salon was very welcoming, so I would recommend stopping in if your hair needs some love.

Good vibe at Hair Studio, friendly and attentive staff. Easy going but efficient. I had a cut and blow dry and was done within an hour. Great if your tight for time or on lunch. Would recommend them.

The Hair Studio has the most amazing Hairdressers, not only will you have the best haircut to suit you, they are experts in colour. Cally the owner has a wealth of experience and you can see that she passes that onto her team. As many of us have experienced that bad hair cut or hair colour, I had a terrible incident with my hair and Cally was able to colour correct my hair and ensured that each time I went in for an appointment that I only had certain colours used and recommended all the matching products for where my hair was at. My hair has now fully recovered and is in the condition it has ever been in.
As we "wear our hair" everyday it was a huge relief to be in trusted hands. Stephen at the Lake street studio is fantastic as well with cut, colours and straightening. Try The Hair Studio for your next hair appointment, you will not be disappointed and they have great rates as well. Friendly staff who listen and are 100% invested. I highly recommend you visit The Hair Studio and especially if you need correction colour.
