  I love it here. There is a friendly cosy atmosphere to the place that is very inviting. I got coffees, tea, a foccacia & a little dessert. Then I was able to browse & read the second hand books they have, in the end I bought one for pretty much nothing.
  The place is beautifully warm in the winter cold & the staff are friendly and relaxed. They also make GREAT coffee.
  You can easily plug in your device to charge at the benches/ communal tables & spend time browsing the internet.
  I would highly recommend this place.

  I'm gonna call it: The Cog is the best coffee shop in Traralgon. It's a perfect confluence of things I like; quality coffee set within a second hand bookshop. Little details like their friendly staff remembering your order even though I must only be able to pop in once a month? Food's good too. If you do go, try the 'Magic'.

  Seriously good coffee here. Ordered the cold drip (shadow boxer blend from Rumble Coffee Roasters) which was strong and super chocolaty - quite possibly the best cold drip I've ever had. The flat white uses the house blend of Five Senses Crompton road coffee which is also very good. The Cog isn't a full service cafe with eggs benedict, but instead is a cute specialty coffee house with a small selection of food in a second hand book store. Absolutely worth a visit!

  Great coffee in a quaint and cosy setting. Was recommended to me by a local while I was in Traralgon for work - I was not disappointed.
