This place is phenomenal. A vinyl collectors dream/nightmare. Getting a little bit kitschy with all the old toy stalls, but still excellent.
Best retro market ever. Huge with so much to look at. Need at least 2 hours. Great Cafe too
Ultimate vintage experiences. At the amazing mill market, you can explore thousands of vintage collectibles at affordable prices. It felt like Alice get lost in Wonderland or like kids get lost in Willy Wonka chocolate factory or Neverland. What I love is there is no staffs at any stall so that you are free to find your loved stuffs, the wandering staffs are extremely welcoming. I thought these kind of business only exists in Japan, so much wow!
You could easily loose hours here looking over everything. It's quite impressive just how much stuff is here.
Absolutely brilliant. Had a great time browsing through it. .
We spent almost 2 hours there yesterday and had the best time. The staff were amazing; really friendly and courteous and helpful. We got loads of great stuff including vintage jewellery and some fantastic finds. Enjoyed a cuppa at the cafe and just really soaked up the atmosphere :)
I love this place. You need a couple hours to look around. So much to see. Just amazing. Grear coffee place here too.
Great place to buy bygone era things and spen hours wandering through isles full of memrobillia
This place is def a must visit for anyone going to Daylesford. Such history and has an eclectic find from any era. To top it off they have a lovely cafe so u can stop and rest and then look some more. I will be back.
Quaint place. Amazing finds. Good food. Very large make sure you have time to mill.
What fun! An amazing place to visit. Huge variety of 2nd hand odds and ends, an enormous well catered cafe, all under the one roof. Put aside a few hours for this one as it will take a long time to get through the many isles of interesting, unusual or fascinating old and not so old treasures, including quality hand made crafts and artisan goods.
This place is awesome if you love real vintage, and no one is there hassling you to buy anything, so you can just walk around and have fun looking at all the quirky things for sale. There's some nicely crafted furniture as well.
Today my grandchildren and I drove from Melbourne to Daylesford to visit the Mill Market. My daughter so excited to show us around. The market stalls were amazing mix of nostalgia and recent times. A treasure hunt for the senses.
The exception that greeted us was at the cafe. Having arrived around lunch time with two hungry children we chose a corner table and let the kids have their sandwiches
I had a drumstick with carrot and cucumber sticks to share with them hardly a meal. We ordered drinks. As we enjoyed our surroundings and coffee ( rather expensive) . We were approached by the manager in a stern manner to pack up as food was not allowed. Stay to finish your drinks. Not possible as the kids were hungry and became unable to remain still while not able to eat. The manager happy to see us off with Styrofoam cups as replacement. Her reason for being so unwelcome on a very quiet afternoon was she had to pay the rent for this place.
Well the stall holders pay their fees too with no complaint if we dont buy anything., and the cafe gets the customers as passing trade enhanced by the market area.
Uppermost of the experience is we felt very unwelcome . If there is a next time we will have our food in town and an ice cream too before visiting the market area where we were most welcome.
lots of great stuff to pick through and find that thing you didn't know you wanted from your youth. very super diverse range of things.
very smart to have a cafe and toilets and courtyard.
well worth a visit if your in town or even a reason to go but also drop by town for more good day shopping.
