  Great comfortable room for us, plenty big enough. Mixed with the locals and several patrons talking the talk, having a laugh along with mine host Phil. Enjoyed the banter along with great cold beer, particularly the XXXdry beer. $2 from the sale goes to charity. You go through some fun house rules with Phil.

  Super friendly owners and a great pub feed. The pub has just been renovated and is very nice inside with a lovely beer garden out the back. Highly recommend stopping by and helping out the locals.

  Great little Aussie bush pub. Decor is an old World delight. The beer garden is lush and green, which makes it very cool and inviting. Top tasting tap beer. A1.

  Lovely owners, great pub with awesome courtyard out the back. You can sit on the grass, or lie down looking at the sky as I did while drinking a beer. They are doing the rooms up and they look great. Didn’t sleep here because we already had accommodation but it looked great and is very affordable. Highly recommend!

  Phil, the owner, was accommodating in opening up for us to stay on opening night. Quite town. Good night's sleep. Yummy meal. Rooms could use some extra hanging space to dry/air clothing. Clean and great hot showers. Very accommodating for our cycling trip.

  I liked this quiet little country hotel, the service, the food & the publican where faltless. I hear the accommodation is reasonably priced. The kids played darts inside as well as playing pool outside, whilst us oldies reflected on the 4 wheel driving adventure we'd just done. Sitting in the bear garden with a cold beer & a delicious steak, chip, gravy & salad. Our father & son boys weakened of 13 of us was outstanding, the short stay at the Alexander Hotel was just what we all needed after our eventfull day.

  Great country pub, good food, nice publican, good pub rooms, very good value for money. $/5. Ask for the local Rydal Extra Extra Dry.
