Ordered Pad Thai and the massaman curry. The curry bearly had any edible meat, it was all fat. But the highlight was the Pad Thai - it had a sharp plastic bit in it, which luckily I didn't swallow.

Updated review:

After the restaurant posted their response I can understand their situation and the hardship they face. Will contact Ubereats for solutions. Their food is great and we had a misunderstanding of the responsibility of the delivery person. Will definitely come here again to support local business.

We ordered Ubereats from this restaurant and opt for leave at door option. However after the delivery guy rang the door bell and we ask him to leave at door for COVID safety, he ran away with our food. Also we were charged for the full fee of our dishes. This is disgraceful and absolutely disappointing service. Need better training for the delivery staff and better communication skills from the restaurant staffs.

Absolutely brilliant and divine! Place is cute and cozy and service was good. Food was extraordinarily good - the best meal me and my friends had in our Melbourne holiday. Tbh we are after all Asian, so we were also extra craving for some Asian cuisine. Not disappointed at all! Highly recommended after a whole afternoon of shopping on Fitzroy.

The portion is incredible small
That beef curry cost me 20 dollars, there is barely any curry or beef inside.

I will never go there.

Talk about FRESH! Stumbled in here one night and had the most delicious Pad Thai of my life. The Spicy Drunken Noodles are fantastic too (great if your can handle the heat). I always bring visitors here and it never disappoints!

This place Thai food is on point. We kept coming back. Even the service they go extra miles.
The other day we ordered them via Uber eats but unfortunately the pickup driver canceled the pick up probably because it was raining, So our order was just ready n. waiting. we know it’s wasn’t the restaurant fault. So we called the restaurant tell them the story and the owner is happy to deliver the food to us without any charges!!!

We’re just so happy with both food and service.

Saturday night. Unusual Thai food here and we enjoyed it. Nowhere near as creamy and mushy as Thai can be sometimes.

Maybe I don’t get out enough but I’ve not seen the like of a couple of the starters they have here. The Chiang mai sausage is a beauty. There’s seriously good heat in these and they have good deep spicy flavour. We loved this dish. It’s one of the more interesting Thai starters I’ve ever had and the heat stayed with me for a while after the dish had been demolished. By contrast, the crispy fried tofu cake wasn’t anywhere near as satisfying. The tofu had nothing to really lift it. The accompanying taro cake was nice and maybe helped a little. But, there was nothing else and as far as I could tell and the sweet chilli sauce promised on the menu wasn’t evident. Again, I’ve not had anything like the fresh spring roll which is, um, fresh not fried. Interesting flavour and texture here. We liked it the dish.

On to the mains then. The Thai Thani green curry was good. The sauce is thinnish not thick and creamy as it can be sometimes. We liked it. The texture of the winter bamboo particularly sparked my interest in this dish which had good kick throughout. The Pad Thai here is a good one as well. A large serving with good flavour. We also liked that the noodles were thinner than usual. The Salmon Choo Chee curry is lovely too. We’ve not seen this in s Thai place before. The salmon was done beautifully and even had the promised crispy skin. The dish had good curry flavour that we enjoyed. The veggies were cooked perfectly too with some residual crispness still evident which we always love. To top things off, the rice was cooked superbly as well. Light and fluffy just as it should be.

Service was adorable throughout. There were three young servers always at the ready at the counter to take our order, deliver dishes and drinks and clear everything away. Their efficiency and politeness was fantastic. The only slight downside to the evening was the bloke at the next table who kept looking over at ours. Like, constantly! I found it rather unnerving and started to stare back til he turned away.

This was a good meal overall. This Thai food is different to the customary local Melbourne Thai but we liked it. We liked the restaurant itself too. We would happily return.

Appalling. Once was fantastic but gone rotten since changing hands. Had an fight with the rather obnoxious owner who argued it was acceptable to deliver a meal that more no relationship to what was described on the menu (they had changed the ingredients maintaining that's what the locals wanted). This local has thus ceased visiting after continued enjoyment over 20 years.

Ordered online through menu log, was 30mins later then the expected time. When we opened the food the pad thai smelt funky and tasted even worse. Seemed like the pans they used to cook in were just wiped down with a dirty rag (the smell was of old dish rag) we didnt eat either of our meals. Would not recommend at all

Terrible food and bad service! Found a hair in my rubbery calamari and when I told the waiter, he offered me a 10% discount on the bill which I thought was inadequate but didn't want to make a scene so I just said fine. When looking online to write a review I seen they give new customers a 10% discount anyway..very disappointingavoid

I have been there twice since new ownership a month a so back.. I will DEFINITELY go back after my last experience there. First of all, the service and speed was exceptional. Very friendly and the atmosphere was soothing and relaxing. The whole family tried a number of dishes that we all shared. I was amassed by the quality and taste and most importantly the kids loved everything too, given that they're so fussy. Very reasonable with price also, especially for what you get, Many thanks and we'll be back for sure!

Use to like it - been going there for 10 years now, and celebrated my 21st Birthday there. Mainly because of the good value banquets they had for 2 people - not many places offer banquets for 2.
However, I purchased a coupon with them recently. They rejected me FOUR Times i tried to make a booking using it, each time saying that they've exhausted the limit on the number of coupons for that evening. And by the time it had expired, they basically said "bad luck". Taking people's money is NOT how you do business
