In town for holidays and read lots of good reviews. Beautiful modern decor and presentation of food but wasn't impressed with the taste of the food. Very salty in some dishes. Service was attentive but no smiles from the time we walked in until we left. Bit disappointed as I purposely chose this place as the one lunch slot we had for the trip.

The staff member yesterday (200/10/17) at 2.45/3pm blonder hair middle aged loud lady on the wine counter was very rude and not friendly at all. We weren't even shown a menu of the restaurant, she was quite pompous and obnoxious. The wine we tasted was very average �When we asked the reasoning of the name '10 minutes by tractor' her response less than informative. Will not return or recommend this venue. Disappointed �

Ten minutes by tractor is my consistent number one place to go for special occasions. Every single aspect is perfectly executed, the food, the ambience, the service, the options, it's the full and ultimate package. 💘💘💘

Brilliant restaurant, possibly the best on the Peninsula. Food was awesome, and the WOW dish was the slow cooked goat.
Service and attention was impeccable, without being too serious.
The French sommelier really knew her stuff. The matching of wines to food with her advice was perfect, and steered me to beautiful wines I would never have tried.
A must do once experience. This is our annual anniversary dinner location.
The recent refurbidhments and redecoration work beautifully. Thanks for a fantastic experience.response / report this review -

Overall the food was very good with a few hick ups here or there. I could have eaten the burnt butter by the spoonful! Certainly left very full from the 8 course degustation. Had some issues at start of service and mentioned to staff who rectified for the remainder of the evening, which I view as a big plus. They staff were all very lovely and knowledgable.
Interesting glass choice for some of the wines - maybe a bit for show? Also, we did find some of the pairings weren't a great choice and would have liked to see a bit more of the Ten Minutes By Tractor wine on the menu.
Lots of tiny details made the evening great though. Greeted with a snack to get the evening started and departed with some take home chocolates. I would recommended a printed menu to accompany the meal for diners to follow along with during the degustation in particular so we could remember some of the great wines we tried!response / report this review -

LONG LUNCH $$$ SO GOOD!
Ten Minutes by Tractor offers an incredible degustation lunch that you can pair with wine; I can assure you this experience comes highly recommended, but there is a price tag that comes with it. The food is a delight to the senses, and the presentation, service and ambience are a wine and food haven in itself.
Glassware to match the wines, wines to match the food, be sure to experience TMBT.
Before lunch, there is the mandatory wine tasting, and Chardonnay stood out here. With a selection of some back vintages on hand also the texture and full flavoured profile of these wines were incredible. Chardonnay is excellent for food pairing, and the 2014 was drinking beautifully.response / report this review -

Blow flies on the windows, sent the main back because it was undercooked, a bug in the beer. What else? For $271 - What do you expect. Very poor. Won't be back.

Small but efficient tasting room with a selection of 4 wines when we tasted. Was very surprised by their wines, compared to some from Yarra, you could tell these had a bit more attention put into them. Not the best views in the Mornington P. I didn't see an outdoor eating or sitting area either.

The service was terrible. Atmosphere was too posh. We haven't felt like in the winery. Cellar stuff wasnt giving us attention. Left us waiting amd we had to ask 3 times to get the next wine. Very unprofessional. Disappointed but wine was good. Service tho is very important for experience. I wouldn't come back
