WOW. Tiny winy little town and this pub was open for lunch mid week, that was a good start. Narrowed my choice of meal down to 5 , or was a hard choice from there. Lovely waitress and compliments to the chef.

Should have gone with the Parma (it looked superb) my burger was average and there were not enough chips to satisfy. They try hard, I'm sure they will improve with time. Service with a smile.

As far as pub food goes it is the best in the area the bar and wait staff are very friendly even though we are not local we will go back again

Pretty average now. Was my favorite places to eat and would always recommend to people. But over the last year or so the food has declined in quality and in size. Public bar is old and uninviting and owner is much the same however the bar and wait staff make up for it somewhat.
