Without doubt one of the worst restaurants I've been too. Overpriced, bland and poorly cooked food. Everything was average about this place.
Have revisited TGI's, and must say very impressed. Staff were friendly and food was pretty good

The waitress was very friendly. I recommend the chicken and prawn fettuccine, SUPER DELICIOUS a bit spicy.
I don't recommend the potato twisters though..

Sadly, the food seems to get worse every time we eat here. Today's burger was cold, over-cooked, over-priced, and dry. The chips were stone cold and inedible. The kids meals are smaller every visit, and today's chicken fingers were more like bits of fried batter - I think I would actually have struggled to find any chicken in there. To top it off, they have removed the dipping sauce too which my daughter loves. If there was any more cost-cutting on the kids meals, I think the plate would be empty. If there were any decent restaurants in Southland, this place would be empty for sure - pull your socks up and stop serving up rubbish please!!!

Steaks were very averag and extremely tough , wasn’t enjoyable at all I highly don’t recommend this place. The burger meat was dry, awful place.

Stuff was friendly however food was absolutely disgusting. Chicken dry and came on some wooden off cut ( weird) sweet potatoes mash was not a mash at all with boiled onions and bacon that has not been fried. Food came out really quickly so I guess everything is pre-cooked ☹️. Never again!!!!

Late drink Service, Wait staff were rude, and cocktails were not at all great. Do not appreciate change of menu either. Ordered the potato skins but literally got deep fried mashed potato with skins.

Food ofcourse bit overprized. New chicken wings from hand crafted menu is so well cooked, delicious and falling off the bone. $20 for 12 wings is too costly considering the size of wings are so small as you can see. Potato twister and dessert is as usual awesome. Slow service at this southland restaurent even it was not busy. Every time we want to order something we have to keep waiting on table and no one comes to ask what we need.No one there to attend you. And that also on monday night when it was almost empty.

We arrived and it was a little busy, We waited a few minutes to be served and it was prompt. How ever the 20 min wait for our drinks was surprising. When asked where the drinks were our host said the bar was busy. There was no one at the bar. We ordered the 250ml wine and got the 100ml glass.

Had dinner at TGI Fridays the other night and it reminded me why we haven't been there for the past 5 years. I ordered medium to well done steak and was presented with what looked like a dried up piece of leather on my plate that I could hardly chew. I also ordered vegetables with my steak and was presented with a couple of pieces of cauliflower and broccoli and a bit of limp lettuce on the plate to hide the space on the plate. No colour or imagination, a most uninspiring, boring, tasteless meal. We won't ever be going back. The staff, however, were friendly and the service was good. Oh yes, ordered "extra hot" hot chocolate that was luke warm and the coffees were also luke warm.
