Strathvea guest house is a beautiful hidden gem tucked away in a pristine cool temperate rain forest. The building is heratige listed and was built in the 1800's . When I arived i was welcomed into the space with such warmth hospitality by Deanne and Toby. I really enjoyed my stay , the breakfast was amazing , the rooms are beautiful and cozy and I just loved the peacock Moet . Definitely would recommend this place for big functions and wedings or for a romantic getaway.

We spent 2 weeks at Strathvea. What a wonderful and peaceful place! Deanne and Toby were excellent hosts. Food was amazing.

We stayed for two nights over the weekend as we were attending our friends' wedding. It was a beautiful venue amongst stunning scenery with attentive and friendly hosts. We would definitely stay again for a relaxing weekend away or another fun wedding!

A Healesville Accommodation Oasis! Strathvea, nestled in the gorgeous forest behind Healesville, near Melbourne is truly one of the most romantic and relaxing stays you will find in the Yarra Valley. For my partner and I this was the perfect romantic getaway full of old world charm and excellent friendly service. A great holiday experience and would love to bring the whole family next time. The gardens and views were simply stunning. Bed and Breakfast in the Yarra Valley will never be the same without Strathvea. Forget the Healesville hotels Deanne and Toby's homely touches and the authentic 1920 charms are MUST EXPERIENCE for all lovers of the Yarra Valley!

Stayed for the first time last weekend and absolutely loved it. True period piece. Rivals the Queenscliff Hotel for atmosphere, great service and attention to detail. Breakfast in the formal dining room was exquisite, and the local parrots, rosellas and peacock eating right outside the window made for a great spectacle.
