First time ever, we went down to the coal mine underground. We experienced old days of a coal miners life. Lou, our tour guide served his whole life in the coal mines. We really appreciated what they did in the past in very extreme living conditions.
Friendly staffs who went out of their way to looked after us.
Really reasonable price!
Well set up facilities.
Definitely worth to visit for the trip!
Unique experience, especially to kids education.

Highly recommend a visit if you're in the area. Underground tour a must, tours are still run by former employees, some of which are in their 80s! The mine village is beautifully restored and laid out, and all attractions bar the underground tour are free.

Great value for money (free entry) with plenty to do for the kids, BBQ's tables and seats, pizza oven on site and a great restaurant / snack shop

A well presented attraction with plenty to see and do. Friendly staff. Great underground mine tour with knowledgeable guides. Good cafe food with reasonable prices. A great half-day attracttion for the family

A very good tour of the underground mine. Ron did a top job as our guide and my 3 kids and i loved it. A good place to visit.

Wonderful experience. Must visit👍
Excellent guide who told us a lot about the place. The tour went for about 1 and half hour. Itcwas very knowledgeable.
They also have fun shooting games on the weekends, in these coal mines. It's amazing.

Well set-up, really educational and informative and very reasonably priced. Great place to have a bite when you are finished site-seeing and recommend doing the underground tour. Great BBQ facilities - amazed this place is not on the Victorian tourist destination as this is part of the Australian history.
