  Spacious, airy and extraordinarily clean. About as relaxed as possible for a cathedral. The acoustics work well for choral performances.

  Rediscover event began here. Awesome venue! Hymns sung in many different languages. Native Australian tongue was powerful. There's something amazing about the original people of the land praising the God who put them there.

  Beautiful architecture, you can't but feel the holiness of the place despite some noisy people. One of three places in Melbourne that remind me of my favorite European cities and their beautiful architecture.

  Every city we visit, I've told my wife we will probably visit the biggest most beautiful church and at least 1 park. This just happens to be the city's nicest church. We always admire the architecture.

  Beautiful Angelica cathedral. Amazing Gothic architecture with wood & stained glass and decorated china tile flooring. Worth looking for. very helpful staff

  While on holiday last week we attended the 10.30am service on the 17th September with two non Christian friends. I was disappointed that Jesus Christ and our need of Him was hardly mentioned.
  An Indian Student came over to me during morning tea. He was searching for one God instead of the thousands he had been taught!! He knew next to nothing about Jesus and our need of Him as our personal Saviour.
  He has been attending the Church for a while, but still not heard the truth that Jesus is the only way to the Father.
  He may be one of many attending your services who needs to hear the truth. God bless all you do. Vera Green

  The church is a stunning celebration of Victorian Gothic architecture.
  However, when we visited, last Friday, around noon, we were met by a very loud, aggressive and pushy, female volunteer 'guide.' She, unsmiling, tersely bellowed 'WELCOME,' at us when we entered, and then, inferred we weren't 'Christians,' because I hadn't removed my cap!
  As a church-goer for 70 years and as a museum guide myself, I took umbrage at this Gorgon-like woman's belittling and dismissive manner. It has been a practice of ours for years to visit this church, whenever we are in Melbourne. This time we left feeling very hurt and humiliated. However, we were warmly received up the road at Saint Michael's Church. Lovely friendly 'staff,' and calm, nurturing ambience.
  It also contains, a stunning collection of beautiful stained glass windows. Go visit; You will get a warm welcome there.

  I spent a month alone in Melbourne on a business trip and I used to come here to find peace. Really a beautiful church and nice people. I'll never forget it.

  You can't miss this massive cathedral at the junction of Flinders and Swanston Street. It wears a proud banner encouraging Melburnians to welcome refugees.
  
  The sandstone building is the home church for Anglicans in Melbourne and Victoria. Its tower is the second highest Anglican spire in the world. Take a walk into the Cathedral and enjoy a free self-guided tour of its neo-Gothic transitional style interiors and design marvels.
  
  While it is featured as an iconic Melbourne landmark due to its age dating back to 1880, it means a lot more to the local community. It collects donations for the homeless and even conducts free weekly conversational English classes to help new migrants and residents.

  With the love for the Cathedrals that I developed after the Europe trip last year St Paul's Anglican Cathedral was a blessing for me .It is a beautiful, historic building, situated in the centre of the City of Melbourne, Australia. St Paul's is built on the site where the first public Christian services in Melbourne were led by Dr Alexander Thomson in 1836. Hence it holds a lot of heritage within
