The ashram is a powerful meditation centre.
It has personally transformed every cell of my being and I've witnessed it transform hundreds of others in the last 4 years I have lived here

This is a con for exploiting vulnerable people.
The self announced guru has been expelled from every other place he's ever been at and has to flee the USA from yet another police investigation.

He has no spiritual lineage and has made it all up and got rich in the process

He has sex with multiple devotees every day and "serving" him is taught as a spiritual experience

    While paying for the privilege

This place destroys the life of everyone who goes there

No-one is safe. No couple survives.

The guy has multiple aliases for a reason.
    Ask him why
It's a con. He's got rich by ruining lives

Talk to Vic Police sex crimes unit
Ask the ATO why he's lost his tax exemption, they don't consider this a religious institution anymore.

Unless you consider serving the cult leader as being a spiritual experience, just avoid at all costs

The ashram is the home of a great spiritual teacher, and is a resource for everyone seeking something other than the grind of daily life.
I came in search of truth, and I found it. I have a deeper understanding of life now, and I am full of gratitude.

Yeh I agree with Peter. He put it nicely. Ive never been much of a spiritual person, but at the ashram there, it didn't matter for me. And Swamiji didn't just give me life changing lessons on meditation, but also the ability to bring meditation into my worldly life, not interfering with it at all. Only improving it immensely.
The ashram gave me techniques to deal with my crappy emotions I have carried my entire life and shift them into happy uplifting emotions.
I highly recommend giving this place a visit

I had no peace in my life. My mind whirled 24/7. I didn't know I wasn't peaceful, I just thought that was the way it was for everyone! I went along to a program and met Swami Shankarananda (Swamiji), his teaching provided hope and a way forward that was practical and achievable. The best action any one cant take is to learn how to meditate. Swamiji's book Happy for No Good Reason and the Learn To Meditate Course offered by the Sri Nityananda Ashram are helpful steps towards knowing yourself and living peacefully. The Sri Nityananda Ashram is a rich resource for spiritual seekers. Here you will find spiritual teaching to empower and transform your life that has stood the test of time. I encourage you to reach out to them as a warm welcome awaits you.

It's really interesting to read reviews on any product or service. Yes, this ashram did have some bumps in the road, but then again I don't know of any human, company, organisation, or government that hasn't. However for me, this place has brought me significant *self knowledge* and *personal awareness* that I have not found anywhere else. I have never been calmer than since I started going to the ashram. And after a very difficult life with enormous challenges, what I have discovered here cannot be compared with anything I have ever read or seen or heard. No one asks you to join or be or do anything. And the weekly programs are just so inspiring. We are ALL human, even you, me, and those at the ashram.

Please, any women considering involvement with a spiritual community, I would caution you to be extremely careful. It is not always a safe space and a number of women have been traumatized by their involvement with this community in the past (when it had a different name). Many people who have been traumatized in spiritual communities are too scared to speak up about their experience but it is also true that many innocent or vulnerable people seeking genuine healing or belonging in a spiritual community unfortunately are exploited by so called " teachers" . Unfortunately also in such environments there can be a also be predators and abusers who prey on vulnerable people.
