Great location, friendly staff and room very clean and tidy. No faults at all although a chest of drawers would have been useful. Rooms nice size and airy. Would not hesitate to return.

This a is a very comfy hotel than has everything that you need. Not extremely expensive if you compare with other in the are and the breakfast-brunch is delicious and the waiter is very friendly.

Bed so uncomfortable needs new mattress. Smallest room we have ever stayed in but location good and reasonably priced don't stay too long as you will injure your back

Very happy with location, cost, surroundings. Great value for money. Its easy for busses and trains and walking anywhere is safe. Lots of restaurants and an ice cream shop within 5 minutes walk. The coffee shop is very convenient and does great eggs for breakfast - its nice to sit outside and watch the world walk by and have a coffee.

Great location. Beautiful little cafe/restaurant on the ground level. Close to Kings Cross train station, a supermarket, Newsagency, restaurants, etc and a nice quiet leafy street. The room my wife and I were in (116) was perfect for us.

The location is great - a short walk from Kings Cross station. The building looks great and the staff are very welcoming and courteous. The room has more than enough space and adequately heated. The t&b is on the small side but enough. Would be great if there's a microwave provided and the wifi tends to be a bit slow in the basement room.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Springfield. It was very conveniently located for what we wanted to do. It was clean. The bed was comfortable. The reception staff were helpful and friendly. Loved the view from the bedroom window.
The one major drawback was the position of the toilet in our room, room 401. If we came back we would not want to stay in this room unless the toilet position was changed. And it was a bit difficult dragging our bags up the very narrow staircase.
But, overall we enjoyed our stay. Thank You

I really like the Springfield Lodge. The staff are great, the location is fantastic, and prices are reasonable. The only thing I didn't like is that they took the kitchen away! I liked being able to cook my meals. Very happy staying there!

I was happy with the size of the room. The bed was comfortable. The water pressure was amazing, had to turn the taps way down in the shower. If there only had been a toaster and a microwave it would have been perfect.

Springfield Lodge suits my needs. It's a no frills, clean and friendly place to lay my head when I'm in the city for work. Fantastically situated near great restaurants, train station and walking distance to the hub of the city. Definitely will keep returning.

This place was really great value! So close to the train station and the lodge offers a great value parking deal at a nearby car park. Easy walk in to the city. Clean and tidy room and bathroom. Only down side was that we didn't have phone reception in our basement room.

Springfield Lodge, is a lovely low level building in the heart of what was once Sydney's notorious King's Cross and an absolute pleasure to stay in. Impeccable rooms, quality linen (important to me) and a very nice feel to the place. While there Sydney was experiencing almost non stop deluge rain so I decided to remain indoors to catch up on myself as a traveller must occasionally. Such a relief that everything was available and of excellent standard. Laundry facilities, iron, TV and so on. Reception staff were charming and helpful as was the housekeeping team, my room was impeccable and it was quiet. Bonuses include a small attached, atmospheric eatery and right opposite a world class supermarket with the best selection of fruit you've ever seen in a shop. Springfield Lodge means I will never have to impose on friends ever again so thank you Springfield Lodge people.
