  Great staff and friendly atmosphere. Always get a warm welcome whenever we go in. Coffee and food is always served hot and fresh. A nice place to go to relax and unwind.

  We went in - My wife, a friend and myself on Queen's Birthday. No greetings, not even a hello from the guy making the coffee. I guess he didn't see us :-)
  We waited for someone to guide us to a table. We stood next to the table and asked if we can sit down, response was "Of course, you can"
  Looked at the menu - was ready to order. Waited for the wait staff to come to take the order.
  After 10 minutes of awkward wait, we decided to leave. When leaving, I looked at the coffee guy - still not a word. I am sorry to say - but I am not going back there even again.

  Great place to be on a Sunday morning for coffee. Neil and his staff are wonderful, friendly and inviting. I am made to feel welcome no matter how I am feeling, looked after when I'm not feeling too good. You can be sure of very good coffee and food both savoury and sweet. Janis 😊😊☕☕

  I ordered paid told the person I was sitting outside where i watched a number of people get served they totally forgot my order and looked at me as what was i doing there they even asked me what my order was i just took my money back

  Janis and I have lived in Mernda for 1 year now. Finding Split Bean was meant to be. Neil Gratton. March. Paul. Rhiannon. Troy and Kristy are always friendly and very professional. A pleasure to always have fresh food and superb coffee
