Great location but a poor experience. Service very poor. Room servicing incomplete and one day was abandoned half way through. WiFi not available in rooms. Requires standing outside behind reception to connect. Reception not prepared to admit to any problems. Equipment absolutely minimal. Two forks, spoon etc. No equipment to wash up. We were glad to leave. Tried to give us room facing a cliff a metre away when we had booked and paid for a seaview.

Typical highway motel. The rooms are nicer than the motel appears on the outside. Simple and tidy. The bathroom was newly renovated with modern features which made the bedroom look a little tired. Room included a microwave. Awesome location, directly opposite the bay in the centre of town.

Good value. Comfortable bed. We had Room 20 and has the best view. Door locks seemed to be fiddly.

Perfectly located right near the foreshore and in easy walking distance of shops/restaurants. Lovely staff and nice clean room with everything I needed. Would stay again.

Really friendly staff, helpful, warm room and comfy bed. We had some minor issues but they were quickly sorted with no drama. Would stay again.

A nice hotel room that we found clean. Good little fridge with some storage for temporary food supplies. Close walk to town centre for shops and dining. Also short walk to the water. Only one thing would make it slightly better would be the bathroom shower improvements. On the whole, I would come back again for temporary stays.

Very basic room but it's comfortable and clean with a decent sized fridge which is great because we did the 12 Apostles Gourmet Trail so we needed plenty of fridge space. It's central to all the main sights along the Great Ocean Road and a short walk to everything in Port Campbell.

Stayed here for a couple of days to see all the stuff on the Great Ocean Road. It was ok but it was dark and very old and the brick walls in the room weren't very nice. Only half of the TV channels worked. The beds were ok and I guess it was clean enough so it is a place for people who are just looking for a place to sleep and not much else.

Very handy location for sightseeing, reasonably priced, clean, comfortable bed and pillows, large tv, free wi-fi, basic tea and coffee making facilities and a bar fridge. Nice place to stay and just a few minutes walk to restaurant's etc.

It's a 3 Star place
We almost felt cheated when they said they got us a 'room with a view' and we arrived at a room with a very ordinary backwater view. The 'view' is by no means the oceanfront view which we had in mind and paid the premium price for.
This place is overpriced for what it's worth. Don't fall for the same trap we feel into. There ain't no view.response / report this review
