  Aged exteriors but interiors look like it has been recently refurbished with newly painted walls, new tiles and appliances. Loved the unfussy, rustic feel of the place. Only complaint we had was the very small shower stall.
  Dunkeld is a very small town, but you can get most everything at Hamilton, a 30-minute drive away.

  Pros
  - Overall appearance is high on par with top tier five star hotels, very natural and authentic look
  - Kitchen and all utensils very clean
  - Sofa comfortable
  - Television and Bluray DVD player fully functional
  - Sofas comfortable and clean
  - Fully functioning fire furnace with provided firestarters, wood and matches
  - Bathroom exceptionally clean with separation doors between the toilet and shower area (all fitted with individual locks), illuminated clearly with heated lights, a lot of towel racks
  - Separate bedrooms have a clean look with no garbage in-between
  - No spiders/pests visible inside
  - Outside illumination is decorated and looks beautiful
  - Environment outside peaceful and the chirping of the birds and natural wildlife is very pleasant
  - Garden areas neat, lawn mowed to perfection
  - Staff friendly
  - Dedicated parking space spacious
  - CHICKENS running around! (No poo around however, which is very satisfying) (Chickens very friendly by the way)
  
  Cons
  - Limited grocery stores/restaurants nearby (No effect of the actual cottage however)
  - Needed more chickens running around

  Very friendly and warmhearted staff. The cottage was great. Waking up to the singing of the birds was wonderful.
  And the wooden heated BBQ next to the cottage worked well and made our steak even tastier.
