Love this casual beach side dining, now open for dinner. The NBD has recently been renovated with a new tapas menu complimented perfectly by $16 burgers. There are plenty of seats at the front of the cafe which offer unparalleled views of the coast, don't worry these are protected by a glass wind barrier and you won't get too cold. A decent selection of coffee, drinks, alcohol and sweet treats. Not too busy with a bus stop out the front making it an excellent choice for groups.

Wow, new menu, new owners, affordable and great drinks list. Went there for tapas and drinks. Watched the sunset and ate great salt pepper squid, chorizo and other tapas. Yum. What a great change and the great news is that they are open again for nights thurs -sun. Very happy with my experience tonight. Will definitely be back.

Had breakfast here a few months ago. It was OK but nothing special. My daughter liked the pancakes. Went back today. My wife asked to swap the egg in a breakfast for extra mushrooms as she has allergies to eggs. This SIMPLE request was refused. VERY POOR SERVICE. We left without eating and spent our money with a more obliging establishment.
Will not be returning.

Location is great but food and service doesn't really match up to expectations. I've not tried breakfast though so might give that a go before I swear off the place for good. It's a local option so I really want it to work!

Rebranded Soda café, still run by the same chef, great guy. Food is always at a perfect standard, although get a reservation on weekends for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

Perfect coffee and lots of choices for baked goods. The food choices on the menu were a bit too fancy for my taste, but they seemed to be high quality. The coffee and sugar free, gluten free donut I had was amazing though!
