Michael rescued us last night. We are so thankful! He helped us to troubleshoot a problem over the phone rather than come out and take after hours payments (like another company we were waiting for were planning to do). He reassured us that we would be okay until morning and then he came extra early the next day to help us out. It’s so good to know there are good people who actually care! The plumbing problem was solved and we are extremely happy clients! Thank you Michael!

Here is an honest tradie willing to pick up the phone on a Saturday afternoon and give advice even if it doesn't make him money. He talked us through some options for us to drain our washing machine and then when they didn't work he recommended against him coming out to fix it due to the cost in parts and labour given the age of the machine. I really respect that.

Michael's done a few repairs for our old house - he's very frank & very cost-conscious. He always talks through the job so we understand the cost & any risks. He'll give advice against his own interests (he talked us out of a couple of jobs).

Agree totally with all the positive reviews! Not only is Michael professional, experienced and accommodating, he goes out of his way to help you learn how to do things yourself. He's done lots of jobs for us over the years, even helping us renovate our bathroom and showing us what we could do ourselves. We saved heaps thanks to him and have a lovely bathroom with minimal cost! We highly recommend Silva Plumbing! Thanks Michael :)

Michael came out straight away to save the day. He resolved a blocked and backed up sewer line promptly, gave great advice that meant I wasn't out of pocket for thousands. All this and he billed less than two other plumbers who didn't solve the problem Thanks so much Michael!

If you want follow up service of a plumbing installation then i suggest you do not use this company. After 1 month of calling the company ( no mobile) and many messages left i finally talked to Michael. He arranged to have someone come and fix, what is a simple problem for a plumber but a nigh on impossible for one who has back surgery, at 11 the following Wednesday. Satisfied with this i waited for the plumber. At 12 I called and by chance got Michael again. He said he would check then i think he hung up on me for I attempted to call him back many times and left several messages. It is now 4 days since i talked with him and the company has not answered my messages. During our call there was not angst so i am wondering what the problem with Michael is : can it be that he does not wish to back up the job once paid with service?

I called Michael to have a look at my solar hot water system that wasn't heating. He was in the area though on his way to another job, but came over on his way and had the thermostat fixed within 15 minutes. Price was very competitive and offered free callout for any further issues within a set timeframe. Highly recommend Silva Plumbing and will definitely use him in the future. Michael has done several jobs for me since I discovered him a couple of years ago, both inside plumbing and external draining, and has impressed from day 1. As well as knowing his stuff and doing quality work, he has a good "feel" for plumbing based on his experience that helps with solving problems. Where there are options, he recognises that different solutions suit different people and tailors his advice accordingly.
And on top of all that he’s a really nice guy.

Michael is not only incredibly knowledgeable, but generous with time and help. I called for help with a hot water system and because it turned out to be a small matter and he had some spare time, he explained what I had to do over the phone. It's very rare you have people in this world go out of their way to help you when they could charge you instead. He's both very kind and a great plumber!
