I consider myself a repeat customer at this take away in Kippax. Food has always been great and service good.

Tonight I decided to get some takeaway, so picked up the phone and placed my order for the pizza that I normally get. Just a little after 8pm I went in and collected my order and drove home (by this time the shop management was in the process of closing for the night).

Upon opening the pizza box I discovered that the pizza was not what I had ordered. I decided to call back (approximately 8:27pmjust 3 minutes before the shop closes for the night), to let them know that I received an incorrect order. I spoke to the owner who was extremely apologetic for the mistake and offered to make me another pizza (even though they had closed for the night).

I was very touched and impressed by the customer service that was shown to me. So not only is the food great, but after the service that I received tonight, I have to say that this place has exceptional customer service as well.

Good pizzas and garlic breads. The fish and chips are pre battered and they dont cook them hot enough or long enough most of the time. When you are in competition with 2 other pizza places within 100 meters you'd hope the pizza was outstanding but its just ok. I only come here to support local.

I have never had a bad meal here, and I've had quite a few! Real pizza, not that cardboard stuff from the big chain stores, with just the right amount of everything and a perfect base. The fish and chips are always cooked just right, and you get lots of it. And the potato scallopsyum! Honestly, I think it's the best take away in Canberra.
