  Booked the hotel for our wedding anniversary. Not where we normally stay while in Nelson’s Bay, but couldn’t find anything else available. The reviews that we read online got us a little worried
  My husband and I arrived, parking at the door, lovely staff at reception. Check in took 3 minutes.
  The room was absolutely gorgeous. Modern, clean, large room. Bathroom was big, freestanding bath, huge shower and white fluffy towels.
  The restaurant downstairs was divine! Decor, staff and atmosphere was wonderful. We had the most amazing meal, fresh food, beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. Our drinks and food came out with perfect timing.
  We will definitely be going back again and recommending to others 👍👍👍

  Fantastic new rennovations! very clean, very modern rooms. Our family were looked after with beautiful food and drinks, great staff and very friendly .. We will be back

  Okay I want to start off with some background about me. I’ve been in the hospitality industry for 12 years in very up market and fancy restaurants to pubs and clubs. I know decent food from those years working in the industry and I was VERY disappointed with the food I was served tonight. I was in such a great mood from hanging out at the beach and enjoying a beer then a glass of wine waiting for my food to come. And then it was sat in front of me.. There was 8 pieces of gnocchi and it took me (being hungry and thinking gnocchi would fill me up) 9.2 seconds to finish the meal.
  
  I’ll give you guys a tip and I hope you incorporate it. Your a glorified pub, don’t attempt good meals if your chefs can’t pull them off which tonight proved to me they can’t.
  
  On a brighter note your wait staff (the ladies) are very nice and welcoming!
  
  I’m not generally a reviewer and I don’t mean for this to come off completely as an attack, I’d prefer you grow from this and continue to be a thriving business, don’t just let your awesome location be all that you’ve got.

  Over from Ireland. Went to your restaurant both Wednesday and Thursday this week. Had an excellent dining experience here. Food was amazing and the staff were the friendliest I've experienced in Australia. Keep up the good work

  This rating is for the restaurant. the restaurant was incredible. the food was really good, really fresh, came out quickly. the atmosphere is really good, on the loud side but still good. The drinks were good and the staff were amazing. Overall can not fault this restaurant at all. It's really good, come eat here !!

  Only been to the restaurant here. Was really nice inside and was definitely a restaurant atmosphere, not a bistro. The staff were friendly and the menu looks delicious. Was happy with our meals and service.

  Food was very average, service was good and they accommodated us without a reservation when they were obviously very busy. I was happy and impressed with the decor of the place it looks fantastic and it also had a nice family feel with lots of families dining this evening. The only real issue was the food. It just wasn't very nice, menu misleading i.e. pumpkin salad was just pumpkin sliced on a plate with sickly deep fried bread. The bay burger would have been nice but the bread was old and stale and burger was way too greasy. This place has the potential to be much better.
