May 2016: Current Licencee of "Royal Hotel Inglewood, Vic: Paul Hicks"
has scammed several people out of thousands of their dollars pretending this business is a good business proposition, taking their money, & not refunding it when deal does not proceed.
He also stole money off kitchen leasees, & sacked staff when he shouldn't have.
He has lied about many things to try & offload the lease to some poor unsuspecting person (like Me), without any concern.
He has (& I'm sure will continue to) lied about serious issues about the condition of the property, (such as unsafe balcony), about the terms & conditions of the premises & many other items in the contract, & has lied that the owner will contribute to costs to suck in a buyer, just to name a few things this evil "man" has done. I am one victim. He has stolen $5,000 of mine that was a deposit, I never proceeded & he never refunded the money. Total scammer.
He also has ads on line still trying to sell the lease, so I'm sending this out to put the word out to potential buyers to STAY AWAY! Please spread the word.

Note: He also owes other businesses in the town for unpaid bills. Ask anyone in town about him. They will confirm what a liar & scammer he is.

He also owns another pub lease in Maryborough he's trying to sell, so is likely scamming people with that deal too. STAY AWAY!

After its doors being dhut for almost a year the Royal is now open for business. Great country pub with a little bit of everything. By day a vibrant cafe can be found up front with Melbourne quality coffee. For a quick fix, Takeaway cakes pies and sandwiches. The pumpkin & feta pasties are awesome. Have a seat at the comfy bistro. Excellent meals. Entertainment and live music. Gourmet pizza's Takeaway or dine in. Great range of beer and wine. Better food. Better coffee. Better drop in.
