Roland spent a lot of time trying to ascertain our needs. We are 100% off grid and now know how important this initial fact find was. He then provided a clear quote in a timely manner. Roland and his team turned up on time on the day of installation and worked tirelessly to get it done. The installation was neat and robust and all materials and rubbish was cleaned up and removed at the end. We are thrilled with the result and cannot recommend Roland highly enough.

Sales/Quote process:
- Roland was helpful and informative - I sort of knew what I wanted for solar, but I also needed a bit of guidance, and Roland gave good reasons for the decisions he made in terms of panel placement and capacity. We have a large flat part of our roof that is slightly southern facing, and I wanted to know whether it was an option for putting panels on. He provided a solution that no other company had thought of, which may have given 13% less capacity, but made the most of a part of my roof at the back of the house that would also reduce the heat in summer due to panels.
- I made one request to downgrade the panel quality (from Winaico to Trina), but other than that, I was pretty happy with the quote. I'm happy to pay a little more for a quality install that was done with care, and I feel like that was provided.
- Roland was the only installer that came out to the house to check the house for anything that could cause issues with the installation, which I appreciated.
Installation:
Installation was polite, tidy, and on time. The guys arrived at 7am, and were all done by about 2:30/3pm. They cleaned up, which is more that I can say about a lot of tradies that come through our house. This is important to us, because I don't want my 9 month old kid crawling around and putting screws, plugs or random building materials in his mouth if I can avoid it!
Customer service:
The grid connection was in my court as my provider needs me to call them to organise a smart meter, but otherwise we're setup to turn the inverter switch on as soon as that is set up. Our Solar Analytics was set up on the day, and I was provided login details as well.
Overall, customer service has been great so far - Roland is responsive to messages/emails etc, and overall pretty helpful with advice.response / report this review -

Roland & his team are fantastic & I highly recommend them. I have used their services in my business & home where they installed solar panels & inverter. No job is too big or small. The team are always prompt & professional & clean up after themselves. Thank you Roland

Highly recommended. I used Roland Lawrence for a 6kw solar installation. Professional throughout the process. His team is great. Always kept me informed and turned up when they said they would. They fixed problems before I even noticed and have a high attention to detail. System works perfectly and supplied tools and apps are a treat to work with and better than I was expecting.

We were recommended Roland and his team from a friend of mine who works in the industry . I had gotten 4 prior quotes but was not impressed with their proposals. After seeing Roland’s reviews we contacted Roland and we found Roland to be fantastic. He was also the only one who actually accessed the roof to do a proper measurement and worked out exact number of panels required.
He and his team were professional, punctual, and efficient.
He recommended our solar system to us and did not try to “sell” us the most expensive/complex system and provided us with a highly efficient system that has proven to perform beyond my expectations after three months of installation. In fact on sunny days; the system has well untruly outperformed the projected models that was provided in the proposal.
We also had a difficult neighbour issue and Roland and his team were very professional with mitigating the issue and remained cool throughout.
They also left our roof in excellent condition, and their work in the garage was very tidy and no rubbish was left behind.
