Bought third party insurance AND road assistance on the phone with RAC, so "someone can tow my car to a mechanical if I'm in trouble".
Few days later, I crash my car, not asking money from the insurance because I crashed alone, but asking the road assistance to tow my car to a mechanical, (just a few km because my car have already been towed by the police) but I'll have to pay for my tow "because I don't have comprehensive insurance"
They sell you miracles and don't help you when you are in need.response / report this review -

All of my dealings with the RAC have been first class. I recently retired, moved house, changed policies from business to personal and today had to lodge a claim, unexpectedly, for a cracked windscreen. On each occasion my call was answered quickly and dealt with in a clear, professional and friendly manner.

What a joke the RAC are, because we have out car insurance with the RAC and have been a member for so many years, we decided when we moved to the Mandurah area to have our car serviced at the RAC in Mandurah.
We booked in for an early morning appt. as they told us that it would only take two hours or more, we asked could they just drop us off at the local shopping centre a three minute drive away, we couldn't walk as we both oldies and suffer with long distance walking, but thought we would go and sit in a coffee shop, and wait, the service manager said, he couldn't drop us off, even though it is a three minute drive away, as if they did this once we would exoect them to do this every time.
Obviously this car servicing area does not want new repeat business, I am going tolook at getting quotes on my car insurances and contents etc insurances as frankly this company doesn't give a dam about its customers, god forbid if I had an accident what wouldn't they fix then!!response / report this review -

RACWA and Northam Car Care refused to change my flat tyre and left me stranded on the side of the road 😕 unbelievably useless roadside assistance cover 👇🖓👎ðŸ˜

I bough a travel insurance in December, and only found out now in March hat I was not cover. The only reason I found out was I submitted a claim. If I didn't submitted that claim I will never find out. I wonder how many people get charge insurance when they are buying online and they are not cover. Becareful who you trust

Terrible customer service. Over priced and solely focused on profits. They were happy to lose 3 deals over a dispute over a $100 additional fee they wanted to put on a new policy. Have moved all my families cars to AAMI. Better policy, better price, and their road side assistance is better (and 20% cheaper per year too). Very disappointed with how they handled my complaint. Zero empathy or attempt to view things from my position. PR department needs to have a good word to customer service, they are failing.

Massive thumbs down to RAC insurance, very disappointed! My dad has been insured for home and car for years and been a loyal customer! Today my dad accidentally backed into my car out on the road and even though he is fully comprehensive insured, because I am a family member and live at the same address you will not cover him and he is now having to fork out thousands of dollars in damage! I know for sure that you have lost a customer and he will be switching companies! What is the point in paying scammers like you lot if you can't even live up to your name! 😡😡😡😡
