Really enjoyable day out on Providence. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Fine sailing, great snorkelling opportunity and all equipment including stinger suits provided. The views over Whitehaven Beach were awesome and we were given plenty of time to explore. Lunch was excellent and catered well for various dietary needs

The crew were knowledgeable and very friendly making it a good experience overall. However if you want to go sailing this is not the trip to take. We ran on auxiliary motor the entire trip which was slow and tedious. Problem is they run a straight course to Whitsunday island into the wind so even with better wind conditions they probably rely on the motor most of the time.

Really friendly crew and staff - they really took the time to chat with us and explain things to the younger members of our party.
Food was very good (take drinks/ a flask if possible as there is only a water esky on board). Transfers were efficient and everything ran on time. Good group of people on the boat.
Unfortunately, we had bad sea conditions (despite nice weather!) so ended up being wet and cold and very rushed at Whitehaven. Strongly recommend taking a warm change of clothes and a waterproof bag for phone/ camera etc. just in case! Also the snorkelling spot didn't work out (tide was too low to get to the reef and poor visibility due to conditions) so it ended up being a little pricey for a limited experience.
Overall, we had a really good time despite rough conditions but would recommend that the crew looks at varying the schedule in such circumstances so that their guests get the most of the day.response / report this review -

We went on a sunset sail recently and it was a wonderful experience! Just the right mix of a totally relaxed feel and a bit of luxury in the form of champagne and nibbles.The Providence is lovely boat and Kieran and Connor were friendly easy-going hosts. Highly recommended!

Had an excellent day sailing in the Whitsundays. The skipper and crew were great. Lunch was fantastic and they cater really well for people with allergies.

Had a blast on my 2 hour sail. The stuff where just fantastic. Went out for the sunset curse. Food bubbles and a good choice in music. Didn't want to get off. The night was just perfect. Great team on board. Wish them all the best

We had an awesome time on our trip with Providence V! Scenery was out of this world! Crew was great! Good food! It was a hot day but with the gentle breeze it was enjoyable! Would definitely sail with them again! We sailed about a month ago, I certainly hope the ship survived the recent cyclone- it was such a beauty!!!

Although I had incredibly bad sea sickness from lack of ocean sailing experience, this was a great trip. The crew members did everything in their power to help me and make sure I was ok. The scenery was amazing, I will definitely be going on this trip again (with sea sickness tablets). A big thankyou to the crew for everything they did for me, as well as the lovely people I met aboard the ship that helped me as well.

Iam so glad i got to finally experience this amazing sailing boat,the Providence .wow what an eye opener,the wind blowing through my hair the splashes upon my face,snorkling the beautiful reefs.Yummy food,and of course the fantastic crew,Thank you for taking the time and care of my son who got sea sick.I will never forget this experience i had today. I am grateful .thank you crew

We really enjoyed our tour! The staff was so nice and funny! I personally would have expected to actually 'sail', at least for some time as there was sufficient wind on the day. Other than that it was such a lovely experience! Thanks to the crew!
