I spent a wonderful couple of hours at the Proserpine Museum on a wet morning last week. As an ex Proserpine resident I found it evoked many memories of my childhood. And it filled in a lot of details about the area that I did not know. I especially enjoyed the picture theatre display. The volunteers were very helpful, knowledgable and friendly. The displays were varied and covered a lot of different areas of local history. This little museum is a real gem and a credit to the people who look after it. Thank you for making my visit a highlight of my trip to Prossie.

Great little museum with a range of interesting local ephemera and realia. Friendly and knowledgeable volunteer staff. Good for children.
