Mystery fish and battered option only. Calamari and fish weren’t terrible but took a long time. I recommend you steer clear of the chicken chippies. Tough and tasteless.

The menu was disappointing, if you travel all the way to Hamilton Island you expect to have a selection of fresh local reef fish! Instead the battered fish was barramundi (fresh water, probably from cairns farm). You could have salmon or mackerel grilled. The chips were undercooked. The batter was great though! The salads on the board were not actually available either.

Our group of 6 had take away from here during our overnight stay at the Marina on Hamilton Island. It was OK, not fabulous. Their menu is slightly limited, they only sell battered fish - we could not purchase grilled, which was disappointing. The battered fish was oily and the batter was quite thick. Once you picked the fish out of the batter, it was quite nice. The chips were good and the hamburger we ordered was delicious, complete with beetroot as every good hamburger should. They have certainly cornered the market on Hammo as I don't think they have any competition. Perhaps they might extend their menu to grilled fish if they did. You kinda expect more from a stunning place like Hamilton Island

Some of the worst hot chips I've ever eaten. Asked for crispy chips when I ordered and they were soggy and only just cooked through AND NO SALT! Don't go here, just don't.

Disappointed that we are on Hamilton island and they serve frozen fish!!! Are you serious! The ocean is on your door step! Get some fresh fish! Don't recommend this place at all

Disappointing and I would expect way more for Hamilton Island. I have had better from a local corner shop takeaway store. Fish was supposed to be Barramundi which I find hard to believe. They didn't have grilled fish either, just battered. The staff were not friendly or helpful. It would be good if they had some fresh fish options too.

Burger was fresh, oysters are super fresh and so we're the prawns. Fish and chips were good, don't expect too much. Decently priced. Popular store!

Food is terrible! Ordered the fisherman's basket. The fish batter was stiff and the fish very dry. No scallops included. Calamari was not real calamari (think seafood sticks). Chips taste like cardboard. Could not bring myself to eat it all and I like to eat. Just awful.

This place does NOT belong on a resort! More something you find on a street corner of a lower class area next to a kebab stand! Was served by a rude man and the food was terrible. Calamari rings were deep fried, left standing and then thrown back in the deep fryer to heat up. They also look like ones you can buy from the frozen section in Coles! It didn't taste remotely like calamari. They also only give you about 7-8 small rings which is unacceptable for the price you pay. Even the lemon they gave me was on its way to rotting and brown with very little juice when squeezed. I have never written a review in my life but this place was that bad and it seriously does not belong on a resort. Hamilton island need to take ownership and make this a fresh seafood place that belongs on a resort island and not a market!
