Place has huge potential but needs attention and maintenance. Trees over growing paths and driveway, pool fence broken, playground covered in spider webs, grass growing out of guttering. Blown away by the huge list of do's and don'ts, Including being charged if I leave dirty dishes or rubbish. I should have just stayed at home and cleaned my own place. Disappointed for for price and rating that rooms were unserved. Curtains were cheap and falling down which meant entire family up with the sun. Very basic and sterile for four star hotel, lacking in comfort and luxury. Bed uncomfortable, lack of linen/towels, hot water inconsistent. I'm sure staff would have been happy to assist but as their family home is on premises, I felt like I would be invading personal space. Office unattended as long weekend and I'm assuming all guests checked in. Happy to leave.

Staff were soo rude it was disgusting. I asked a simple question about why one of the room doors was double locked and the lady replied with "Are you not happy with your accommodation?, because I can refund your money and you can find another place to stay". I don't think that was necessary and her disgusting attitude wasn't needed, I wasn't being rude or offensive, I just wanted to know why the door was locked because I felt unsafe knowing there could be anything in that room while we slept. Her attitude ruined our mood for the whole day.
The pool was not clean and the spa had minimal water in it and was also not clean, couldn't even go for a swim you would just be swimming in dirt.
There was lots of ants within the house, the bedding was ugly and looked nothing like the photos. The DVD player had no remote to it so you couldn't change the language of the movie. The outside table was rusty and dirty. The inside spa had hair all over it, the gardens need to be maintained, as bushes will hit your car as you drive past.
Don't recommend this accommodation to anyone.

Also WAY too far from Maccas!!!!!!
