Pannys Chocolate Factory is fantastic place to bring kids and older kids. You eat so much in samples everyone loves it . The tour is must , the Cafe have wonderful choices of mains , sweets. The shop a excellent choice of chocolates to buy .

I loved this chocolate factory! It has many interactive experiences and a staff member helped me to make chocolate with the $2 chocolate machine. They give out free samples of chocolate too, you can choose what type for chocolate you want and then a little penguin will grab it for you. There’s just so much about this factory to cover! It is quite small but they somehow managed to pack so many experiences in!

Good place to visit for family and kids. Not as big as I had imagined. Entry to the cafe is free and for the tour it's $18 per person. What you get is a token with a QR code (10 credit points) and a chocolate bar. You can use the token to play games that are towards the end of the tour and earn wooden balls. If you manage to win 6 balls you get a gift or some sort of prize. The interesting bits were the 1 ton chocolate block and things made out of chocolate. Some machines that you could draw or write your name seemed cool for kids to have fun with.

The cafe had the usual stuff and nothing special in terms of chocolate based items.

Delicious hot chocolate, innovative ‘robot food delivery’. Shop shelves were a bit bare and prices seemed rather high. We did buy rocky road to take home and it’s pretty good. Wouldn’t rush back, but worth a visit.

Oh and they take Covid safety very seriously - no entry if not vaccinated and special air filters inside.

Great place to visit with kids and family.
Great models showing how chocolates are processed from cocoa and is finally made to the chocolates we eat.

Great games allowing to redeem chocolate balls.
Enjoyed the chocolate drawing machine which helps to draw patterns using chocolates.

The $2 chocolate making machine would definitely keep kids entertained, as they can make their on customised chocolate.

The cafe/restaurant offered various varieties of awesome chocolate based foods.
Enjoyed the hot chocolate and other foods served by the robot at the cafeteria.

What a gem the Chocolate Factory is, took our two young Grandsons, they thoroughly loved it. Following the chocolate process was well displayed and extremely educational. The boys loved the games area and desperately tried to score some wooden balls, it kept them entertained for quite a while. Following our tour we enjoyed coffee cakes etc from the beautifully airconditioned cafe. The complex was spotlessly clean and tidy, toilet amenities were very clean and we'll maintained. A big thank you to all staff who were extremely polite, friendly and helpful.
Well done for making this an enjoyable visit.

Good place to visit with the kids. There are many games and fun thing to learn and play. The chocolate tastes good but little expensive to buy. I personally felt. Otherwise it was nice experience. I enjoyed everything. Must visit.

Tour cost $17 - good display of process of making chocolate from beans to product, but from there a huge disappointment. There are four carnival-style games (getting the ball into the right chute etc.) which you can win chocolate from - the $17 ticket buys you 10 credits for these games. When we visited only one of the games worked reliably - two did not work at all, and the third worked sometimes, but did not release the ball at other times. The chocolate-shape making machine was also out of order when we visited (the only machine that had a sign advising it was broken). We approached the man at the front desk after our tour who gave us five more credits for the games and also fixed the broken games. Service was fine, not especially friendly, almost like this is a regular occurrence for them. Chocolate flavour is fine, not as bad as chocolate in a cheap advent calendar but not life-changing either. There is a display of "guess the aroma", some of which just smelled of the wooden box they were housed in. There was also a "design your chocolate flavour" section with the opportunity to win a prize if your flavour was chosen at the end of the month - unsurprisingly, this also did not work.
There is a photo-booth opportunity where you can enter your email and have the photos emailed to you free of charge and without any watermarks - this was one positive in an other extremely disappointing visit.
Overall, areas for improvement include:
- Staff attitude - not particularly friendly (except one worker in the packing section who smiled and waved when we waved at him)
- Games - improve reliability and monitoring for any breakdowns - (you receive small chocolate balls in exchange for wooden tokens won at the games - but there is a maximum of 10 that can be won and this is only if the games don't steal your credit
- Value for money - $17 per person is a lot to pay for a rundown chocolate display tour with one small chocolate bar at entry

First time was awesome, today was the second time was still okay with the kids but I was so saddened by the fact they are now only giving everyone 10 shots to win 6 balls to exchange them for chocolate at the end. But still fun

I wish to express my concern with experience my 10year old had at your business. Please note this is feedback from a child in the purest form. Unfortunately I was not there but she was with my wife and she experienced the same lack of customer service and rudeness. My daughter’s immediate comments were that your staff at the business was the rudest she has experience at any of the attractions on Phillip Island. She waited for 12 months with great excitement saved for the ticket and to be greeted with this unfriendly bad manners from your staff is very disappointing. I would suggest you employee a mystery shopper to see for yourself how your staff are treating your customers. One notable experience was after she won a wooden ball when she went to exchange this for the chocolate the person handing out the chocolate virtually threw the bag of choccolate at my daughter. It was an older lady and my daughter was shocked with this behaviour. A ten year old does not need to see this sort of rudeness. They should be treated with care and kindness. Granted you had a lot of tourists in the shop, this still does not excuse any of your staff from acting this way. I wish you take this feed back in a constructive way and teach your staff basic manners. Regards.,

Very busy and full of rude Asian and Indian tourists which unfortunately ruined some of the experience. Chocolate itself was not amazing but decent. Cafe food was standard. Pricing of admissions was decent. Overall, worth a visit maybe but you won't lose your mind if you miss it.

The experience was very pleasant. All staff were very friendly and helpful . The tour was brief but had many inteactive stations to experience the chocolate making process. Sample are plenty and delicious. Would recommend for families. Best advice, come early to beat the rush. It could get crowded.

The chilli chocolate shots pack a punch. Delicious!
I didn't do the tour, but I hear it's fantastic.
A casual Indian restaurant/cafe here too with good food. They don't have free water that is easily accessible, but it is available, you just have to ask (when you order your food, so you don't have to queue again, is my tip!)

Fun self guided tour with interesting exhibits and history and process of chocolate. The ticket is a chocolate yum! Free flow of chocolate at some areas once you are inside so be sure to get your entry fees worth! There is a booth of some games which is entertaining for the kids but doesn't really relate to chocolate. Chocolate shop real expensive though.

This place is very quite, calm, peace. If you really want to spent some time with your loved ones visit this place.
On other hand, if you love animals especially kangaroo, penguin 🐧 visit this place.you will love it 😍
