First of all, I know it is a public holiday, but it is nearly 4 hours since our phone call and the prescription has not arrived! No discussion at the beginning that there could be a delay and I have texted and called. Rang another service and got the prescription straight away. Will never use this service again!
Paid $75. They didn’t know if I can get Medicare rebate or even when I can get an appointment. This was a government recommended number. No one has called me for an appointment. The email is just a general one and a receipt.
Very happy with the prompt appointment (was called within 20mins of submitting online booking - after hours on on a Friday night), appropriate assessment by a nurse practitioner and script emailed straight to me. Would definitely use again.
Had an appt that was almost 2 hours late! After my appt I didn't receive my medication script and had to contact them to ask for it. Even after all the poor service I received no apologises.
Shockingly poor attitude and service from the Philipino-sounding lady who does their phone service. My 83 year old father caught Covid on the weekend. He had pre-approval from his GP for one of the Covid antivirals, which are time-sensitive - they work best when administered early. Unfortunately we needed a locum service because he fell sick on the weekend. It was a mistake ringing this place. We called, booked online and paid by 5:30pm, called back at 9pm but this lady was hopeless - could not tell us even if the doctor would contact us that same day - "maybe tomorrow"? Sounded like she was on valium, drugged out of her mind. Had no sense of urgency. Completely ignored what we were saying about the urgency of receiving antivirals early, dismissed our concerns with a total IDGAF attitude, like she couldn't care less. Shocking to get this from an Australian medical service. At one point we wondered if it was even real - could it be a scam? Harvest your credit card details from their website? It was that bad. Eventually, at 10:30pm (5 hours later) the GP contacted my father and wrote the prescription. 30 minutes before the late night pharmacy closed, so we managed to get antivirals into him before the day ended and they seem to be working. I'm sure the GP was really busy, but that can be alleviated by proper professional communication. This lady should not be working the phones. Sack her. Please replace her with somebody compentent who actually cares. People's lives are at stake.
