All the staff at PESC are so caring, friendly, attentive and knowledgable. They treat their patients beautifully and the medical diagnostics and services are top notch!
Took my two dogs in after they got into a fight. Paid $165 each so a total of $330 just for consultations. Could not tell the difference between both dogs and had to come out three times to ask me which one was which - even though they are both physically different and were wearing their name tags.
Informed me both dogs were fine, and they had both been checked over which they were not.One was brought in as he was bleeding from his paw and limping. My dog was dragged in literally dragged in and came out shaking with poo on his fur which makes me wonder what they did to my dog to scare him so much that he actually defecated himself.
The other dog which they said was completely fine was not - had an open would on his leg the size of a thumb nail, which I was told was not their fault because “they checked him over thoroughly and there is nothing wrong with him”.
Went back to my regular vet who gave us antibiotics and a cone.
This place is poorly run by rude staff who have no idea how to treat animals just tally up the numbers they have charged people for wrong information. I feel sorry for people who bring in their animals who have more serious issues, I wouldn’t be surprised if this place had resulted in the death of pets.
My son's dog Trevor was run over and he
Received the most amazing surgery and care. He is back on his feet and doing so well . Thanks to Chris Preston and all the staff our family is so grateful.
My bunny went three times for ICU. The price was very expensive and result is not very good. After about more than three hours waiting and checking everything the doctor still don't know the reason just gave me some expensive medicines and it's not practical. Feel disappointed.
She didn't recover and I went to another clinic the doctor told me the medicine they gave me caused some problems that made my bunny even worse!!
Feel so disappointed by wasting much money and time! I just want to my bunny back to health but the vet can't help.
If i could give this place 0 stars i would. Beware undertaking any services here. Be prepared to be double and triple charged for services. Any estimates given will be WAY over the range given. Despite what they say, post operative care will not be included due to so many exclusions which they never mentioned, like simple bandages. That's right, they want to charge for these. They will also not sedate the pet to undertake post operative care like other Vets would do. This is also a chargeable extra.
Beware getting on any payment plans. Interest charges are higher than credit cards. They don't tell you this until they sign you up without your permission. Though I was able to get out of this quite easily as i never agreed to it.
Dr. Chris is a low-life parasite who takes advantage of the situation you're in to take you on a very expensive ride. Shame on you.
As other reviewers here have stated, this place is a money hungry facility. After spending more than $8000 here, i've taken her elsewhere to continue treatment.
Thank you Chris for performing champs surgery also I would like the thank all your staff who's bed side manner was amazing as I was a mess upon arriving.. champs doing great. How well and fast he is recovering is truly surprising he will be back to being a mischievous handful in no time at all
We can not thank you all enough 😉
My bunny decided he was superman and jumped over the stairs railing and fell 3m down onto solid timber stairs and continued to tumble down. He ended up with a complex / multiple break. The staff at East Malvern Pet Emergency & Specialist Centre are the best I have come across in any vet emergency centre. Not only were they empathetic and compassionate, they left no stone unturned to ensure that my bunny is as comfortable and pain-free and out of gut stasis as they stabilised him for surgery. Dr Chris Preston is a miracle worker and an absolute magician. He has given my bun his leg back and his quality of life. My bun has gone from trying to be Superman to being my Bionic Bunny. My little boy is already moving around on his leg, eating well on his own and just happy to be back home. Dr Preston with his team are absolutely my go to place now for emergencies involving my fur babies :-)
Chris Preston and his team of vets are the most amazing people on the planet. Our dog Tess had a very serious spinal injury and Chris operated on her and has provided the best care we could possibly ask for. Tess receives around the clock care and lots of love and cuddles from the entire team. If you want to give your animal the best chance possible Malvern Pet Emergency is the place to go. They are caring, compassionate and highly skilled at what they do. I would never consider taking my pet anywhere else after dealing with these guys. These people give pets a chance when no one else will just because of the things they do for them.
I could not thank this specialist clinic enough they have worked so hard in helping my dog who was maliciously stabbed in the back and his spinal cord was severed. When my dog went in there he was a Grade 5 spinal case and now he is a Grade 3.
Dr Chris and his team of vets and nurses helped my dog to recover slowly. With 24 hour care and assistance from the team my dog is slowly making improvements.
They are a modern up to date clinic with all the latest technology and extensive experience. If your beloved pet is in need of medical assistance this is the place to go to.
Words cannot explain how grateful we are for the commitment and care you have all shown towards Roxy - and also for helping her on the road to recovery! She is going really well! Sincerely Effie & Marty
Even though I drive well over an hour to Chris Preston's surgery, I would make the trip over and over again to get the wonderful care given by Chris and all the staff. With the surety of our pet insurance, we can have the best care available for our Cavvie with an autoimmune disease and it does not break the bank. Thank you Chris for your ongoing care of our little Beau.
I was there in Xmas day..
Very very bad and not friendly at all.
All they care is how to get more money from pets owners.
I was in a room with a vet checking my dog,and other vet come in and she say I need the room now. And I say we not finish yet. She say wait outside, that's rude and they told me the will cost for checkup $175. Which is not truer when I try to pay she say $276
