This company actually investigates the problem instead of just spraying your place and leaving. Very HIGH knowledge and experience in what they do. They took the time to investigate the cause, the source of the problem and elimnated it completely which included going through every cupboard, cracks hiding spots the lot. We had a cochroach problem in our apartment for 3 months and we had 4 different companies come out and NONE of them investigated they only sprayed. After we called PestEx,
Mr. Phillips was very knowledgeable and experienced eliminating our problem entirely. We also use PestEx in our shop and both
Mr Phillips and Marty are EXCELLENT in resolving and maintaining pest problems. HIGHLY RECOMMEND PEST EX. BEST IV SEEN IN QUEENSLAND.

Just had my home barrier treatment for termites by Pest Ex. In every way a brilliant job and fantastic friendly service unlike anything else I have struck on the Gold Coast. This is a very professional company and every person involved was excellent in every way. Strongly recommend them to all who read this review because you won't do better.

Update:
I had a call from the owner of the business today. Danny was very apologetic and understanding of our situation which I reviewed below. I got the impression that every effort would be made to make sure that what happened to us does not happen to future customers. We are happy with the new company we are now with, but I suspect future customers will be happier with the service at Pest-Ex than we were. If not, then I would recommend speaking directly with the owner Danny, he is a good communicator and willing to help. 5 stars for the phone call, 1 for the initial reviewed experience; 3 overall.

Original review:
We had a termite inspection and pest treatment done with Pest-Ex. There was a threat of rain on the afternoon they came out to the property so it was decided they would come back to complete the outdoor pest spray. We understood some wait time would be expected, but they wanted to wait a whole month. We managed to get it to 3 weeks, but after waiting over a month already that was still unreasonable in my opinion. No one answered when we asked how having the inside and outside treated 3 weeks apart would change the effectiveness of the treatment and then within a day of them finally finishing the job we ended up with an indoor ant issue we had never had before.

After the first day they had recommended a full chemical termite barrier which we had every intention of getting with them for about $3,500, until we tried to get more information about the terms and conditions and a copy of the inspection report. Most of our questions were ignored and the rest of their responses about the terms and conditions were passive aggressive and not even pretending to be helpful.

We didn't bother calling to follow up with the ant issue / pest control warranty because we don't want anything to do with company again.

We decided to go with Conquer Termites to get the full termite barrier. Conquer Termites were more than happy to communicate about their products and terms and conditions and did a fabulous job from start to finish and they did a free pest treatment which actually got rid of the pests unlike pest-ex.

On time. Efficient. Friendly. Informative. Well priced. Our experience with Pest-Ex was easy from the moment Reception answered our call. Our routine pest inspection could be done the next day (a Saturday which is most convenient for full time workers). Karl arrived at 7am with a smile to complete the service and carried out the work efficiently informing us of the process where required. Thanks team.
