I have had the pleasure in dealing with Nicola Bowen and some of the team at Perth Family Lawyers and they have me wishing i found them earlier! Nicola is the BEST lawyer i have delt with for a long time i am the happiest person knowing my Daughter is getting the 100% best chance now that i have such an increbile Person helping me i could not rate Nicola any higher please stop reading this and just get in contact with the team straight away they will help you with all your worries and make it a stress free TIME! (as much as possible)

Nicola and the ladies have an absolute wealth of knowledge regarding the family law and left no stone unturned when preparing me and my case for court. They achieved the required results and were very professional, prompt and supportive of my queries and questions. Even to this day over a year after settlement I still turn to them for advice when required and they always have the answers I need to know straight away.

Melissa and her team, I can not thank you enough with everything you have done for me and my family. My case was not the easiest and straight forward to say the least but with your help, guidance and reassurance the end of the journey was a great weight off my shoulders. You helped me through some extremely tough decisions and times and stood by me and reassured me in the decisions I was making were the best outcome. Thank you once again.

Nicola Bowen represented me over the last 2 years and was incredibly helpful. She did her best to keep costs low and has the utmost integrity. She guided me through every step of the process and assisted in negotiating a very favourable outcome for my settlement. She is straight talking but personable and I highly recommend her.

I cannot recommend Nicholas Cooper and his team highly enough. When searching for a lawyer to help me through a property settlement with my ex, I was completely disheartened with the 3 lawyers before him that I spoke with until I found this practice. Being in a Defacto relationship I was already behind with the WA laws that are in place at the moment and in order to have a fairer outcome for both parties I needed a lawyer who was 100% in my corner and would explore all avenues to make that happen. Nick did this for me in abundance. Not only did he think outside the square to make sure I was entitled to everything I should have, he did this in the quickest possible way he could, saving me thousands as well as his pricing being very reasonable throughout. He was also the first lawyer to fully explain everything to me in a simple and clear way through the whole process. Thanks Nick, so grateful to you.

It took a long time, but Samantha and her team were with me the entire way.
I read some of the other reviews on here, one particularly negative one claims that the lawyers are only after money and breaking families. Samantha could have prolonged things to a scheduled trial with an estimated cost of over $20,000, but she was crucial in reaching a negotiated agreement between me and my ex. She saved me a mint - I'm using the unspent funds to buy a motorcycle. 🏍
Samantha was able to be empathic towards my ex, seeing when she is scared or nervous and is able to act and react in a way that helps moving things forward. This would have been a red flag for me and would have prompted me to press the advantage. Cooler heads, thankfully, prevailed.
Having Samantha speak for me (I only uttered a few words in court over several visits) certainly allowed the process to go more smoothly. I am quick witted and, occasionally, sharp-tongued, and having Samantha act on my behalf, we always had a calm, measured response even when passions (the bad kind) were in full bloom.
I wish the whole process had gone faster, but that was no fault of PFL or Samantha. Blame family court and the back-and-forth from parents in conflict for the delays.
It cost me dearly, the divorce, but it would have been easily five times as costly without Samantha and her team. Personal attention and attention to detail won the day.response / report this review -

We were so relieved when we moved lawyers to Nicola Bowen at Perth Family Lawyers. Nicola very quickly came up to speed with our case, was supportive, responsive and compassionate regarding a very difficult situation. In addition, Nicola was able to communicate with us and explain the legal system and process in a way we could understanding, such a relief and we felt Nicola was working in our best interest.

Unfortunately, I needed to resolve what was needlessly quite a complex legal tangle with a very uncooperative ex .
Fortunately I have always found Nicole Bowen and the team at PFL professional, prompt on returning emails and inquiries, and most importantly solid in the knowledge that is the "Family Law Act".
