We had a great dinner with lamb loin and apple pie as highlights. Unfortunately a lot of foamsasparagus foam hazelnut foam and vanilla foam. Luckily Troy helped us through all that a beautiful shiraz from Passing Clouds. This one is an institution still.

Just had the best dinner experience tonight with a delicious 3 course meal. As newly local, we have passed this place many times but didn't realise what we've been missing. A great place for a special occasion with incredibly friendly and attentive staff what went that extra mile!

Exceptionally delicious restaurant, beautifully designed with a provincial rustic feel.

Dropped in for a drink and snack, having been lured by the architecture and atmosphere. We were glad to be told it was happy hour, so cocktails were $12. A shame that it's possible to make all the delicious components of a cocktail into an undrinkable, warm, sickly sweet liquid. When asked whether a menu item was vegan (and I had to go up to the bar to be ignored by 3 staff members for a minute or so before I was finally acknowledged), I just got a "no". No thought of recommending anything else passed through his mind. We ordered olives, which came out cold, with a Sauvignon Blanc our only saving grace. $36 later we left completely dissatisfied, and next time we will stick to anywhere in Melbourne for customer service.

Overall a disappointing night out. The atmosphere was great but food and service quite poor for the price. Staff lacked any warmth - you get better service at Mcdonalds. Food was rushed out to us very quickly before we had even finished the previous course, a result of the staff probably wanting to get out asap. The food itself was presented well but lacked flavour. Chocolate dessert was the high point of the night. Would not recommend and suggest owners to train your staff better.

Beautifully well presented restaurant. Great dining experience. The degustation meal was amazing. Staff could not have been more attentive but not in your face. Highly recommended. We will be back.

The perfect meal. From the tahini and pomegranate butter to the cocktail called spanked this menu took our taste buds on an adventure. The duck cooked three ways was delicious- best confit out of France. A lovely treat for my husbands birthday.

Really great kitchen turning out fantastic degustation dining, with a casual ambience. Have been coming here for years and we're never disappointed. Particularly wonderful in their care for dietary restrictions, they go above and beyond to ensure everyone has an impressive experience. This place is the best of Daylesford.

10 out of 10 experience at Perfect Drop. We had the 5 course chefs selection which was delicious. Excellent service and great wine pairings made for a dinner to remember. Thanks Jeremy et al, we will definitely be back in the future.

Happy that they hosted events as part of Chill Out festival. But the young hostess was too cool for school and the dishes took themselves a bit too seriously!
