Paxtons has the best film scanning in Sydney, for price, quality and time. Every file is around 6mb. Staff are helpful, would recommend it very highlu for film scanning. Nothing but positive experiences here.

My camera battery completely died (as in could not hold a charge anymore). Of course, I was on the way to a photo group workshop and had forgotten to get my spare off the charger. Bad practice on my part.

Manny came to the rescue. Tested the old battery and showed me it was dead, then sold me a new one and even charged it to help me out. Top notch service, and had a good chat too. Highly recommended.

Bought my first camera today from Paxtons - city store. The representative Ian helped me, and he was great! Not like a typical sales rep as he took his time with all my beginner questions and was not pushy. I bought a camera, lens protector, spare battery and charger, bag and memory card. He matched competitors prices and I felt like I got a good deal. I will definitely come back and buy more lenses once more experienced.

Only been to this store once but the store had a lot of staff and each customer was attended to quite quickly and in a non-rushed manner unlike some other stores around the city.

Great range and location close to train station. Receipts also conveniently state the date the manufacturers warranty expires.

Their prices can be a little more than competitors (for items I was interested in anyway) but for those who need some customer service, advice and time with a sales person, this store seems to cover that quite well and would be worth the slightly higher price tag.

Regularly use this store to have my film developed and have never had a problem. Always quick to develop the film and even give me a call if it gets done sooner than the agreed time. High quality scans and very fast service. Price is also fantastic.

Some negative reviews out there, but margins are tight with all the online competition. Their returns policy is second to none. You may buy at the same price elsewhere but check that you get a chance to return it, you never know if you may need to. I have purchased 3 quality cameras from Paxtons so far and wish them well. I will continue to support bricks and mortar with generous customer trading policies.
