This place does great for the south American ambience, they've got the right music and decor to ensure it complements the food.
The food however is a bit overpriced for what it's worth, eg. the portions of meat are smaller, while adding a lot of corn chips.
Their dessert options are pretty weak.
However they do often serve $6 margaritas, but they're not very strong on the alcohol, but great on the flavor.
This is also a great place to hang out with a big group, as they have seating and booths to cater for large groups (eg 10 people) and they do massive jugs/ buckets of sangria. So definitely head there if you're a large group!

Pancho's is always a fun place to have dinner. The food is good and their mexican themed resturant and menu are enjoyable. It is a busy place and can be quite loud if you are there during peak hours.

Great ambience! Love the underground hidden feel. The food tastes amazing and the portions are good. The prices range $20-$35 for dishes, however are worth the price.
They also have mini tequila and margarita taste testers.

Don't get me wrong - the food was really good. I had the enchilada combo. But my god the noise was deafening ! Cheesy Mexican music blaring so loud, everybody was shouting to be heard - I literally couldn't hear people 2 places away on our table. Food was a touch expensive for Mexican IMHO but was nice. Worth a visit - just take some noise cancelling headphones !

Great atmosphere and food. A little pricey for my liking but you do get a decent portion. Our service was mixed, with one lady being very professional and helpful, and another being less so. We were seated in a corner facing a wall where we couldn't see much of the rest of the restaurant, which was disappointing. The table, chairs and walls were also a bit worse for wear, with paint flaking and graffiti. The atmosphere was nice, but not quite the authentic Mexican vibe I've been told so much about (partially because much of the Spanish written on walls and signs and whatnot was incorrect, and the décor was more American than Mexican) but this isn't a big deal. The food made the experience worthwhile, however. Really tasty and fresh. The Mexican vibe isn't what you dine here for; it's the food.

Let's start with how you get here it is essential you make a booking as they can be extremely busy. Having done that right from the door every staff member was professional and polite.
My drink order was taken and I received it in a short time. Staff were abundant making it easy to place the dinner order and I got to tell you once I placed my dinner was in my table in a speedy fashion less then 10 mins.
The food was extremely tasty the size and quantity filled my belly of one to brim which is awesome and it tasted delicious and was piping hot

The price was excellent and a person on a budget would find something to eat.

My only negative is children running around screaming etc but they were there for a party

I would highly recommend and I will be going again.

I walked in with my wife and children, well dressed and polite. There were tables available and they could seat us immediately HOWEVER the waitress insisted on having my phone number. I asked why and was told it was "policy". The tall bald man at the entrance then asked us to leave.
I am 54 and have travelled widely and have never had such an incident.
    I am disgusted.
