Another check point on the journey that was Street Machine's Drag Challenge 2017!
A lot of locals say don't take a trailer up the hill and that it's dangerous but truthfully, we made it up the hill with ease in a '55 Chev and a trailer.
The views are worth the drive up the hill and I definitely say it is worth the detour into town if you're driving close by.
Good place fo Day out, But Be carefull if you are with Kids
Lovely panoramic views of the area, including the Grampians. Well worth the short detour.
Great view to the Grampians and also back towards Ballarat
Beautiful views of Grampians and ararat, fresh air. I could sit up here for days!
Awesome unobstructed 340 degrees view of ararat and its surroundings. A must to go on a clear day. My friends and I drove to the top.
An outstanding view of the grampians in one direction and ararat in the other. This is an old fashioned Australian lookout with plates indicating direction and distance to local towns. This is not full of tourists, it is quiet and peaceful and scenic. A nice place to sit and clear your mind for a minute or an hour. The road up is narrow and steep don't take your caravan. No toilets.
Nice look out but wouldnt hurt for them to hotmix a carpark up the top
This is an excellent viewpoint. I always bring overseas visitors here after we have been to the Grampians, for a last look!
Great views both to the grampians and over Ararat
Amazing view Worth the time to look
Top look out. Can see the Grampians, Mt langi and surrounds. Also excellent view of some wind farms( renewable at work!). Worth the stop.
Great lookout. Well worth the drive up. There are no toilets up the top, but a bin and shelter. You can see a long way even ion a wet day
