If there was a best camp kitchen award for caravan parks, Acacia would win that, hands down. We only spent a couple of hours here, charging our small electric car. Enough time to be very impressed by the facilities.

Exceptional customer service! The owners/staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. They gave great advice for local attractions, such as the One Tree Hill lookout, which has amazing views of the Grampians and Ararat. I left my glasses behind, they then phoned me to let me know and then mailed them to me free of charge. Looking forward to my next visit, will definitely stay there again!

We arrived around 9 pm at night with no booking and the staff/owners were very extremely helpful and accommodating. They went above and beyond in helping us secure a meal for the evening as well as providing us with what we needed for a good nights sleep. The amenities were clean and adequate. Be aware it is close to the train line.

A friend referred us to this place (as new owners had taken over) and we weren't disappointed. We were looking for a short two night stay, to show our daughter the Grampians, and local surrounding area. Having always gone straight to Hall's Gap (over crowded), we decided on Ararat. They should have a big sign entering Ararat, Grampians Gateway. Only an easy 2 hour drive from Melbourne. Acacia Park had everything thing we could want. Cabins spotless and clean, modern, had all the comforts of home. New BBQ's through the park, pool spotless and clean, (37 degree day it got some use). I was a doofus with the air con remote, tried to operate it in heat mode, on a 37 degree day. The owner promptly attended to the cabin when I mention I was having AC issues in the heat. He thought he may have done something, as all just had the filters cleaned and serviced. My fault I had it on the wrong setting

There were so many things to do as a tourists, having always driven straight through. Be sure to visit J Ward, the tour was so informative, Gum San the Chinese cultural centre. Close by also, Great Western and other wine regions. Grampians only a 30 min drive away, be sure to visit the zoo (not cheap), but worth a visit.

The new owners, have really cleaned this place up and seem to be on a mission
Many thanks, you made our stay more than comfortable. We will return in winter to experience the local delights

Dearer than on their electronic page, and it is a basic park, very old facilities but clean.
