Sam and his team recently painted interior of our house and did an amazing job. We were in a rush to move into our new place and he and his army of professionals did it well in time. Team arrived on Monday morning and everyone knew what they have to and worked like clockwork. Spent significant effort in prep work ensuring the walls comes out smooth… pricing wise was fair for the amount of work they did .. happily recommend and will use again in future

Sam and his team at Ometek are absolutely amazing, highly professional and offered a really fair price for a very last minute job. I was left last minute in a bad situation by another tradesperson who left the job incomplete and Sam and his team stepped in within 24 hours to paint an entire one bedroom apartment. I would highly recommend Ometek for anyone who is looking for high quality work at a fair price. Thanks again Sam :)

Ometek had a great team of guys and did an excellent job. They painted our fence, the whole of the exterior of the house, and one inside room. We were particularly impressed by the thoroughness of their preparation, which included replacing a couple of damaged weatherboards and sanding all the walls. We would certainly recommend them.

I found Ometek painting and decorating through a request I put on Hipages and i could not recommend Sam and his team highly enough!
Before the job, from talking to him and getting a prompt quote very close to the other two quotes obtained ✔️ and having great availability ✔️ (something which got me a bit concerned, given all other painters had a 3-6 month wait, but I called a reference and her review was glowing so I decided to go ahead).
On the day we agreed to start the job, Sam's team of 6 painters turned up on time✔️, they were all very curtious and respectful of myself but most importantly my neighbours (I had to ask my neighbour for access to his property)✔️. I have a decent size house with two storeys and from starting Tuesday morning they worked the whole week, and finished up at lunchtime on Saturday ✔️ in addition the the external job (they replaced weatherboard as required✔️) they also painted 16 internal doors, plus a couple of other odd jobs and saved me endless hours of trying to do that myself✔️. To top the experience off, they voluntarily sanded and restrained my front porch as there were 2 small paint spills on it✔️✔️✔️.

Sam and his team are highly recommended. Ometek recently painted the exterior of our weatherboard house and we could not be happier. Sam arrived with a large team on the first day and within one day, most of the cleaning, sanding and prepping of the house was done. The whole job, including fascia, gutters, windows and eaves and two pergola/covered porches and oiling of one deck took the team only three days. Everything was done to perfection, communication was great and all team members were courteous and a pleasure to work with.

I highly recommend Sam and his team from Ometek Painting.
When he came to quote painting for the entire interior of my apartment he was very calm and advised us on colours to use and the process involved to carry out the works. He recommended an undercoat and 2 coats of paint and the apartment has come up a treat.response / report this review -

Meet Sam on site to look over and quote an entire repaint of my apartment in Brunswick.
I was a little stressed about the state of some of the walls and how they would be fixed and finished, Sam was very calm and relaxed and talked me through the process! He put my mind at ease, that's for sure!
His team came through and completed a fantastic job.I couldn't be happier with the result! They came and completed the job with no fuss, in a very timely matter.
He also suggested a few different things before they started which were perfect for the individual spaces!
Thanks again for the wonderful job to Sam and his team! Awesome.

Ometek painted the exterior of our house a couple of years ago. The paint started peeling within one year and now looks pretty bad, especially on the north side. When painting our front door, they did not prep it. They just painted over the cracks without fixing them at all. Although they claimed to do three coats, we could/can still see the original colour in places. I would have asked them back as per warranty, but my partner refuses to have them back on property after poor and grumpy service. NB: they also painted a relative's house, which is how we flcame across them, and despite the fact it looked good in beginning, it's now also subject to the same peeling. I'm sorry to leave a bad review, but I'm really disappointed with the outcome and the rude owner.

Great workmanship. Friendly and professional. Thankyou for the wonderful painting especially doing ceilings and outdoor wearherboards which were in bad condition. Now looks wonderful!
