My review is for their costumer service.
I had few questions re an old model. In 5 minutes I had all my questions answered and the specification sheet + manual on my email.
It was simple, objective and the lady over the phone was really friendly.
Do not purchase from this company. I purchased 2 ovens that were "top of the range". When delivered, one of them had the wrong door. To cut a long story short, the store told me to contact Omega directly. When I explained the door was incorrect, the lady tried to lie and say that was the new design door that had just arrived from overseas. I called her out and said all the online ads had the correct door, and so she agreed to replace it.
Now the oven rattles constantly when used, and it's only 3 months old. I've asked the store to contact them again for repair/ replacement and they say Omega are ignoring them. Pathetic, embarrassing is the only way I can describe this company, but most of all product is pretty average for "top of the range".
Edit- omega have since contacted me and arranged a service. Rattle was a simple fix and some peeling paint will hopefully be replaced.
Our apartment was fitted out with Omega applianceswell! I wish it never it never was! Dishwasher never dried from day one and is now unusable due to being unable to drain and always full of mould. Our rangehood randomly snapped off, it was literally attached by one tiny bit of plastic! Would never recommend!
Omega dishwasher is a dishwasher that does not wash or dry, basically cannot do what is supposed to, and their cooktop gets overheated (where the controls are) so you have to use a tea towel to assist you with operating it. Omega microwave Stop/Clear button is basically, you’ve guessed it, useless as it does not work.
That all is fine except that they charge a top dollar for this rubbish. That, however is not acceptable.
A lady, allegedly from omega, called me and my friend up four times within half an hour saying that we bought an oven, even though we live on different sides of the country, and I had to raise my voice and yell at her for her to get the message. It was absolutely ridiculous! I'm not sure if it was legitimate or it was a prank call from someone pretending to be omega, but the fact they were calling from a private number seems to me like it's fake, and the fact that when I yelled, she said to someone 'quick, quick, delete the number' makes it seem less legitimate.
