This place is a glorified fish and chip shop which is fine in and of itself but since the original owner (Nino) sold it, it's become a real dump and it is nothing like it used to be back in it's heyday when I used to work there :(

My 1 star is because the food was good and plentiful.

We came for lunch on a Thursday, at about 1:20pm. Upon arrival, three tables were being used and every other table was dirty. The food preparation staff should have effective hair protection on I.e., hair nets and beard snoods. The vinegar is not labelled as vinegar and should someone ever clean the tables and leave cleaning product laying around, it could easily be mistaken for vinegar. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Ps.. I had lunch with a Food Hygiene Auditor.

We had a voucher for fish and chip baskets. They were reasonably sized and my grilled piece of fish was very nice so value for money was pretty good. I don't understand why fish n chip shops don't offer tomato sauce in squirty bottles. (All Chinese restaurants have soy sauce!) The toilets were absolutely disgusting and clearly not cleaned well, ever. To me this only a reflection of what the kitchen could potentially be like. Therefore I wouldn't eat here again.

Was great food at reasonable prices. Can get very busy at meals times and on a nice day so allow for that. It is kid friendly and can get loud also. But all in all a very nice place for a meal.

My partner, our 2 kids and I had lunch here. The food was excellent, with decent portions (the kids couldn't finish their meals) and the service was very good. The decor is similar to another well known fish and chip shop in Mandurah and Freo, but Ninos feels much cleaner.

Terrific place for a fish and chips lunch. Pricing was odd - the "large" helping was on special, priced the same as regular, so we only bought half as many portions. Not complaining, obviously. Tons of outdoor seating with shade, and plenty of seagulls to keep you company.
