I had a very professional and collaborative recruitment process with Kelly from NGO Recruitment. Kelly is a great communicator and I felt thoroughly supported while I was preparing for my interviews for the role I am presently enjoying. I would not hesitate in recommending Kelly

If I could provide less than one star I would.

Recently, I received a direct message from a recruiter of NGO Recruitment regarding a Senior Executive Role with an Aboriginal Not-For-Profit. After investing a lot of time and energy developing a strong executive-level application, researching the organisation, and having difficult conversations with my current employer. I went through the interview process only to be unsuccessful (which is perfectly fine). However, the follow up from NGO Recruitment was so unprofessional and not responsive.

I was notified by the recruiter that I was unsuccessful in my claim for the role, but when I requested feedback, the recruiter gave ambiguous feedback and stated that although I was a strong applicant the Interview Panel went for something 'different'. The recruiter indicated that they would provide detailed feedback after the recruitment had been finalised.

A month later after several emails and text messages, I expressed my disappointment directly with NGO Recruitment and received an immediate phone call. However, the feedback was still ambiguous and stated that the Interview Panel only provided limited feedback.

NGO Recruitment should provide an equal employment opportunity for all candidates, which includes providing robust feedback based on the selection criteria extracted from the Role Description.

    Candidates/Talent are not disposable objects.

I started working at NGO Recruitment one month after I arrived in Australia and thoroughly enjoyed my 3 years, it was like being part of a family. Richard makes sure each member of the team feels comfortable and has great working conditions. Every member of the team is hard working and dedicated to clients and candidates. I've worked in other recruitment agencies before and NGO Recruitment definitely has the highest ethical standards, working for all these amazing organisations in the NFP sector was rewarding in many ways.
I definitely recommend NGO Recruitment and wish all the team the very best.

Richard gave me career-changing advice and tools, which resulted in making strategic decisions and landing a dream job that wasn’t even being advertised! I would absolutely recommend the NGO Recruitment - they are all lovely and so helpful.

I cannot speak highly enough of Debbie Jardine. Debbie has been extremely responsive and a recruiter who has actually taken the time to understand who you are as a person and professional. I valued Debbie's generosity with her time to deeply understand my career journey so far. Debbie goes the extra mile in making sure you feel supported and up to date during the entire recruitment process. What an asset Debbie is for NGO Recruitment.
